It's rare to have a weekday off. Even more so to have my wife off at the same time. Today we took advantage of it and had breakfast at Bob Evans. It was awesome. Love the sunshine skillet. Everything was wonderful.

Just did pick-up. Called in our order, arrived 20 mins later. Order was ready. As the COVID thing is winding down there were only a few empty tables. Their farm fresh food was great. The staff were consciously cleaning each surface. Impressive! Glad to see Bobby Evans maintaining their high quality level of good food and good service.

As with many restaurants in the area, they are under staffed. We were told that prior to being seated. There was 1 waitress and 1 person busing tables and trying to help bring the food out from the kitchen. Our waitress was friendly, attentive and apologetic for the delays. Fortunately, the other customers were patient and friendly. Our food was cooked as as requested and served with the expected delay. The bus person was doing their best to clear the volume of tables that had been used by prior guests. She was small in stature, but making a Herculean effort. There were a lot of tables to clear. All in all, we had a good dining experience thanks to our server who did her best to make us feel like a welcome guest. She did a great job under pressure. Just a note for all when dining out...know that there will probably be delays. If you don't have the time or you don't like waiting you probably would be better to go to a fast food establishment. It's not easy waiting tables and unfortunately patrons can be rude. I tip by service. They rely on tips which sometimes have to be shared with the person busing tables. Great service should be rewarded.

I went here for breakfast after going to the dmv. About 10 years ago I would visit this branch all the time because I lived in the area. I'm pleased to say that this location still has excellent service and quick meals like it did a decade ago. I was shocked I even saw the hostess from back then still working here. This is easily the best breakfast spot in bel air/abingdon area. I got the pot roast hash which at one point was taken off of the menu and I was happy to discover its back. Eggs, pot roast, cheese all on a bed off potatoes.

Always enjoy the country farm food here. Tend to usually get a quick seat compared to back in the good old days when you were on a wait list sometimes up to an hour or two. Bob Evans down on the farm! LOL!
