Too bad there isn't a six-star rating, because that's what I'd give. I love the atmosphere of this place ... like a 'local's' spot, old fashioned, not fancy or shiny ... comfy. We got there at 11:35, sat at the bar, then it started to get busy. There is a nice selection of canned beers, and a couple of drafts on tap. Our server was Kym y. She was great ... made small talk and was most attentative to our needs. We wanted food, and brother, do they have it! My wife got the 'Steak Bomb', and I ordered the 'Haddock Sandwich'. Both came with a choice of a side; we chose French Fries. The 'wow' factor was definitely working here, look at the haddock sandwich, the haddock is sticking out several inches on each side of the bun! By the way, the bun was fresh, and as soft as a cloud. My wife, who is somewhat of an amateur chef, said her steak bomb was perfect, small pieces of tender steak, with no gristle. The prices are most reasonable and didn't break the bank! Another bonus, the pub is located right on the Belfast Harbor Walk, so you can enjoy a pretty walk to burn off some of those calories!

Great place! Stopped here for lunch, and it did not disappoint. We had a large party and they were able to seat us rather quickly. One person in our party asked for something soft to sit on, and our waiter ran out to his vehicle and grabbed a blanket for her to sit on! I had the combo scallops and fried clam strips, with fries and a salad. The scallops, hands down, were the best I've ever eaten. Not even a close second, and I've eaten scallops in many places. Cooked perfectly with great flavor, i highly recommend. I had fried fiddleheads for the first time ever, and I have to say they were pretty good as well. Our drinks never went empty, and our server was absolutely incredible. I will definitely eat here the next time I come back to Maine and visit Belfast. If you haven't eaten here and you want a good place to eat while visiting Belfast, you need to give this place a try!

We went for a late supper. We waited about 15 minutes to get a table, but it's expected during the tourist season. It has a real pub feel with a big bar at the entrance. I love the portion of the food. I had so much haddock that I shared it with my daughter. My kids loved the Mac N cheese. They said it was creamy and cheesy. Our waitress was so nice and accommodating.

We came into town on a Friday night and found this restaurant right by the water. Service was excellent as well as the food, but it did take long to get the food. Would recommend eating earlier here, versus later at night.

Stopped here for lunch on a whim. SO GLAD that we did. Friendly staff and fun decor. Front st Pub burger is the BEST burger I've tasted in a long time. Savory and full of flavor! Excellent fries and haddock. Side salad could have been a meal on its own. Fresh crisp veggies! Yum! Will visit again!

This time I decided to have the haddock Reuben sandwich. I had their special horseradish coleslaw on the side which may qualify as the best coleslaw I have ever had in my life. I'm so glad this place is close enough by that I can make use of it. I'll definitely be going back again!

The atmosphere more than made up for the lack of skills our waitress had. The bartender took right care of us! The drinks were terrific!

What a find.....looking for food last night and stumbled upon this gem!! Great service, good beer, and the food we had was outstanding! We did the Combo Pick 3 and chose the haddock, scallops, and shrimp ... all cooked to perfection! Hearty portions - couldn't even finish it (and we are big eaters) - all for $29.99 and that includes fries n coleslaw!

The Front Street Pub is one of the only restaurants in Belfast open 7 days/week, year-round! In the winter, the entrees are hearty and filling. In the summer, you'll find the best local oysters and seafood, and plenty of patio seating! Did I mention 19 taps of craft beer? Oh, and their staff is friendly!

Excellent food and drinks here. I met a lot of the locals here for a fun evening on Cinco de Mayo. The staff and the patrons are all very friendly. They have a variety of food and they have a local treat called fried fiddleheads.
