We shared a couple lunch specials. You get a choice between soup or a thai salad with it. My wife got the soup and I went with the salad, both very good. The Princess of Siam was very good, came with rice and a lot of grilled veggies.... and the chicken Teriyaki was amazing, it came with rice and veggies. Both meals came with a crispy egg roll.

Amazingly fragrant and fresh. Having eaten at every thai place in town, I keep coming back to, and comparing everything else to, Thai Cottage. Best Tiger Cry in town and best Tom Yum I’ve ever had anywhere. Currently on a diet to loose 10 pounds so my daily lunch is a bowl of the Tom yum. I simply can not get enough. I get 4 out of five on the spice scale and it’s more than most can handle. I’d recommend 2/5 if you want spicy but easy to handle.

I had been searching for YEARS to find great Chicken Pad Thai in Houston with a delicious sauce … I FINALLY found it! Perfectly cooked and perfectly seasoned with just the right amount of peanut sauce! Clean, bright restaurant with outstanding service. I recommend parking on the Cedar St. (HEB) side away from Bissonnet.

This is definitely a rich-old-white-people lunch spot but I can’t blame them. The interior is both modern and cozy. The menu has a great range of selections and the staff is incredible.

This relatively new Thai restaurant is just a block and a half off the beaten trail, but well worth the search. Great soups, perfect spices, and cozy seating. Appeals to couples and families. Medium pricing.
