The daughter of the owner was working. She was absolutely great! The conversation, helpfulness with the menu, and the genuine kindness is not what you find a lot anymore.

Great ladylocks and fresh cupcakes. Wasnt much to choose from in the bakery. Gonna try the soups next. Little on the pricy side tho.
Family stopped in to grab some doughnuts so didn't get to try as much as we would have liked; they have a good selection of yumminess. Nice shop with friendly employees, located just off of Rt 51. Definitely will return in the future to try more stuff and recommend checking it out if you get the chance 🙂
If your looking for a regular, home cooked meal at very reasonable price points, then this is one of those places. Their food has no frills, but it is good and portions are very generous. I have never been disappointed in the soups and they are open before the day has a chance to defeat you. Everyone is friendly and their baked goods are fresh and taste like it. For a person who can appreciate a small business with good, quality diner food and tasty treats, you won't be disappointed...

Homemade soup! The chicken salad was very good. The buffalo chicken was terrific, it has a nice kick. We tried the thumbprint cookies (only 65¢ each), but were not impressed. The peanut butter cookies with the chocolate were quite savory though. All in all, it was a nice spot for lunch. I would eat here again.
I've tried many meals here, all great too! Tim is very selective on what ingredients he uses and I assure you that is why it's so good. I've had the eggs, sandwiches, specials, and many pastries. Sometimes I'm too busy to cook and need a quick meal before or after work and this place is usually what comes to mind. Food is great, then I leave and come back another day, hungry for the same thing yet when I order up and the food comes, I get the same goodness in taste no unexpected change, and I like consistency. Very consistently good, so I can expect same good flavors and if you like Meatloaf, then try it out on Meatloaf special day. They make a mean meatloaf! Customer service is great as well. Everyone here is on top of their operation. Rare find in the diner category with the perfect marriage of price and quality of food, in my opinion this rates top.
The Sweet Spot is a local diner and bakery with unbelievable homemade food at great prices. The staff is friendly and accommodating, and they always offer meals with quality ingredients. Their salads are made the minute you order them so all the vegetables are crisp and fresh. Dressings and soups are made from scratch. Their cabbage rolls, meatloaf, raviolis, eggs, and burgers are delicious and taste like they were made by your grandmother. The Sweet Spot is so much more than a bakery, I go there at least twice a week for either breakfast, lunch, or dinner.
