Gyu-Kaku is a really fun dining experience. If you’re looking for both a fun dining and social experience — I definitely recommend coming here. All the ingredients (yes including the vegetables) taste amazing. I went with one other friend and we both agreed that the Chef’s Choice (for 2) served the perfect amount of food that left us feeling not too overly full! The only reason why I’m taking one star off is due to how long it took for the staff to take our order after being seated (~20 mins+). It happens though as the restaurant was full and busy, and there’s only so many employees. I still would come again!

We have been coming here for years and first time going again during Covid. We had lunch special during weekday and food is still good. Set lunch came with soup, rice, salad and meat.

Cleanliness : 8/10 Food Quality : 10/10 Staff Friendliness : 10/10 Food quality to price value : 8/10 Food here is great especially if you can make it to the 3-8 PM Happy Hour. You will leave full and satisfied with any of the combination sets for 2-4 people. The sauces here are one of the best I've come across in WA as well.

Staff is super friendly but I feel bad for them because many times the store seems understaffed- but they keep their smiles on! Food is super delicious, we dined in last week and yesterday ordered to go. Their raw meat platter to cook at home…. Yum! Highly recommended! I can’t tell which meat was which because i didn’t keep track but each you can taste a different marinade and the meats have different textures

We visited Gyu-Kaku almost weekly. It's quite popular here! So you'd better reserve a table before coming in. Based on our previous 10+ visit here, we highly recommend beef, pork, and shrimp. Among beef, we recommed New York Steak, Angus Beef Rib, and Harami Skirt Steak. They provide grill guide for different food on the table. They serve 3 different kinds of sauce and each one is gluten-free and great taste! They also have multiple choices for desserts. The most unique one is S'mores. You will grill the marshmallow and put it with chocolate between cookies. The high temp of marshmallow will melt the chocolate. For me, the dessert is over sweet. But the process is quite magical. If you have not tried it before, you may want to have a try.

A little on the pricier side but great experience for friends and family :) we ordered the yakiniku bbq course for 4 people and it was very filling. There was a great variety of meat with miso, sweet soy tare, garlic, herbs, salt & pepper marinade and also precooked dishes. Personal favorites were the Japanese chicken karaage, kalbi chuck rib, and umakara pork. We also ordered the in-house sake and the lychee gin mojito, both paired nicely with the flavors of the bbq :) great atmosphere and service as well.

Our food was very neatly package for us so nothing would spill or be damaged. When we got it home, the whole meal was easy to put together and looked even more beautiful.
