We knew the food would be good when we walked in because it smelled like authentic Vietnamese pho soup. Everything was fresh and quick served. If your are hungry and need something good fast, this is the place to stop by.
Super friendly staff and very quick service even when they were busy during lunch. Broth was very good and the pho had a good amount of meat. I know inflation is going on but I still think it was a little to pricey for the portion size. Really liked the spring roll and peanut sauce.
Vegetable Pho was great and the staff is really nice! Pho 99 is starting dine in Monday March 14
I got it to go and ate it at McDonalds. The waiter warned me ahead of time that if I didn’t eat it within 10 minutes the noodles would clump together, (they did unfortunately) but I didn’t mind too much because it still tasted good. Most times when I get pho to go, the noodles are packed separately. I’m sure if the texture bothered you too much you could just ask them to do that for you.
Pho 99 is my #1 choice to Dine in! Very Comforting and the ambience is relaxing. Great customer service and our order is out within a few mins. My fav is the Combo Sampler w/ peanut sauce on the side yum! Highly Recommend!
The best vermicelli bowls I've ever had! Their chicken is so flavorful and always cooked perfectly and it makes the bowl taste so much better than the bland ones that rely on the sauces to give flavor. Their egg rolls are also really tasty!
Good decent Pho place. They give you a lot so when you take it home to make it it’s enough for two meals or more depending how much you eat at once. The quality is good as well. Nice and warm on the many cold rainy days here.
I had the vermicelli with carred pork and my wife had the pho with lean beef... both excellent on a cold damp day
I can't believe I haven't written a review for this place yet! I've been going to Pho 99 since my first year of college -- at this point, I've been going there for around 9 years, which is wild. There was a time in sophomore year that I was going there once a week or more. The sweet staff here has seen me in every condition: celebratory, heartbroken, hungover, sick, date night, hanging with friends, or just in need of some pho. I've never been a regular at a restaurant before and even though I moved away from Bellingham in 2018, they still remember me and I always make sure to pay them a visit when I'm in town. I truly hope they can pull through the pandemic and eventually reopen for in-house dining because if this place closed for good, I don't know what I would do with myself. This is the best pho (I like the veggie with extra noodles), the best bun (grilled tofu is amazing), and the best Vietnamese iced coffee in town -- don't let anyone tell you any different. Not to mention that they are very affordable! Sorry for the novel-length review, but the love in my heart for Pho 99 is truly boundless <3
