Best Brisket ever.. Love the bbq sauce and love love the potatoe salad.. And love that they have put a tex mex flare on the BBQ.. I haven't had anything I didn't like there.. also, good steaks and catfish!

I used to come here years ago and loved it then too. I was able to make it back there on this visit and it's just as good now as I remember it then! Got ribs, brisket, and their homemade venison sausage and jalapeno cheese sausage. Super good food, juicy, tender and delicious! Very flavorful!! We didn't get any sides but they all looked good. Their original BBQ sauce is really good too!! If you live in the area and haven't tried it or if you are visiting or passing through I would highly recommend eating there and enjoy some really good BBQ!!!

I had the beef brisket queso baked potato. Amazing. It was a little spicy for me but it was so good the spice didn't matter. I tried my husband's deer sausage and it was awesome. Worth the price. If we ever come through there again I'm there. Employees were super nice too.

A blend of traditional BBQ and Southern Charm, Schoepfs is where it’s at. Whether it is brisket, sausage, or chicken you go with or a stuffed baked potato, quail, or rib, you can’t go wrong. Pair that with two kinds of sauce, slaw, or my kids’ favorite, cheesy potatoes, and you have yourself a meal. Go enjoy some today.

Crazy about their bbq sauce! It's seriously my favorite around. Their sides are all wonderful, and the cobbler is delicious! Definitely a great place for lunch or dinner!

Great food, great service and a wonderful business that supports and gives back to the local community. We have had events at their location and they are very reasonably priced and easy to work with. Their free concerts are a blast, and their catering staff is prompt, professional and the food is great quality.

Really good barbecue and cool authentic Texas environment. We went on a Friday and saw a live acoustic country music show, which was excellent! The brisket, ribs, and sausage were all great and the sides and desserts were pretty good as well. Definitely try the sopapilla cheesecake! The only reason I'm giving 4 stars is the price. For the BBQ tray in my picture in addition to a few sides, drinks, and nachos it cost me over $90 for three of us to eat, plus whatever we tipped. If that doesn't bother you, this place is definitely worth a try, especially during one of their live shows. EDIT: Changed this to a five because I attended Schoepf's Backyard 4th of July party, and this place is an awesome local venue that is absolutely worth checking out. They have exceptional BBQ and live music shows often. I just moved to the area and will frequent this place often.

Absolutely amazing food. Extremely friendly employees. This place cannot get enough credit that I can offer. Great pricing for some real barbecue. We spent about 90 bucks to feed two adults our 10-year-old boy, and 3-year-old boy our eyes were bigger than our stomach we ended up taking the rest of it home and have plenty for dinner. We end up getting a pound and a half of moist brisket, two jalapeno and cheese sausage links, a stuffed jalapeno popper, large macaroni and cheese, medium beans, small cheesy potatoes, small green beans, two slices of cheese and drink for us .It was amazing that you can actually taste the meat and not overpowered with seasonings or spices. Everything was served to perfection. First time coming here and we will be coming back for more.

We travel a lot between SA and DFW and are always looking for a nice place to eat besides fast food and we are glad we found this gem. The moist brisket was amazing and we do love a good brisket. They had tons of sides, my favorite was the green beans. The wife liked their Mac and cheese, can’t wait to try the others. Also, the restaurant was clean and the staff was friendly. We will definitely stop by next time we are passing through.

First timer. Had a sample of the brisket and it was AMAZING! Ended up having the Brisket Burrito and my friend had the Street Tacos. It was all delicious. The Burrito is huge and generous and definitely would be enough to shared. The tacos looked like it was food fit for a toddler and although my friend was fine with it, I thought it was a rip off in comparison to the burrito - and difference in cost was $1!! Then decided to try the Soppappilla Cheesecake and was a bit shocked to pay $7.95 for a piece! What??? Very overpriced for something so easy to make! My friend and I shared the dessert and it was delicious - just like everything else. Visited without checking reviews prior. Would go back for a splurge and just for the meat.
