Excellent service. Great pizza. Love how they cut the garlic bread to smaller portions, delicious. Highly recommend this place. A must go to place.
I've eaten a lot of pizza, and after moving back to Philly, have gotten my fair share of monstrosities. A friend of mine told me to take the 15 min drive over to Bensalem to try out their Brooklyn Style. Needless to say in the past 2 weeks that I've discovered this place, I've ordered about 5 Brooklyn Styles abd my family is hooked now. This place is special, run by people who care. The smells, the nostalgic flavors of their Sauces, it's all fantastic. I highly recommend stopping in, it's well worth it.
Just did pizza takeout, but was delicious. Has to be a homemade sauce, fresh crispy crust, great cheese. Best pizza in town,. This is now my go to place for pie.
My Wife, Son and I ordered from Bella Maria last night for the first time.... I can tell you this.... Absolutely the best food in Bensalem..... Pizza was better than perfection.... Buffalo Wing Cheese Fries....WoW!!!! Crazy good....Great food.... Great prices for the high quality product you get..... Finally a great pizza and more place right here in our backyard.....
If I could have given it 10 stars I would have. 20 plus years in Bensalem. 14 years working in pizza shops as a kid. I can say with 100% certainty and honesty that the tomato pie I had today was not only the best pizza I have had in this area, but in my entire life in all my travels. THE BEST! - It was life changing good. They do not deliver to my house in Feasterville, but I'll gladly drive to pick it up. You have to try this place. Great food and a great story behind it.

We were first time customers and will definitely order again! The tomato pie was the best we ever had and the eggplant parm was so delicious! My husband picked the order up and said the staff is super friendly!

Bella Maria is the best....If you haven't been there you have no idea what your missing....Bella Maria's Pies are second to none. I gave Bella Maria 5 stars not only for their pies, also their sandwiches, dinners and service...First class all the way.
This place is awesome. Just moved to the area and thought we’d check it out. So glad we did. Been back a couple of times as I work my way through the menu. Alex and his team are the best. Just today we tried the Strombolis. I went with the pepperoni, my friend went with the buffalo chicken. He was losing his brain it was so good. Can’t wait to try their Spaghetti Carbonara...

Great things about Maria Bella: their famous Brooklyn Pizza comes in only a large and is amazing to eat. The owner and staff were very friendly and engaging. Quaint and quiet atmosphere. Would recommend traveling any distance to eat there!! Listen...if you have to break a few traffic laws to get there it is worth the effort..You just gotta eat here.
First I'll talk about the pizza. I ordered a large plain pizza and it was delicious. Dough was fresh and cooked perfectly. Not over cooked or under cooked. The sauce was was flavorful without overpowering spices. There was a mix of mozzarella and light Parmesan. So tasty. Secondly, the service was phenomenal. I called and couldn't hear anyway and they actually called me right back!! The gentleman was extremely nice!!! Highly recommend!
Tomato pie was very good. Place is a bit cold inside. No pasta due to supply chain issues. Seemed like they are short staffed. Will order take out next time. Everything on menu looks good. Service was excellent.
The best pizza in the area. It reminds me of my stay in Italy years ago: the freshest ingredients (Brooklyn style Sicilian pan pictured here) with the most flavorful sauce, and perfect crust. Who knew I had such a gem in my home town? As a first timer, I took an informal survey from others waiting for their food. I didnt even look at the menu, the survey results were in, unianmously. We ordered The Brooklyn. We were not disappointed!
What it is: a square pizza with perfectly cooked dough underneath a tomato sauce, piles of roma tomatoes in the center of each piece, all smothered with cheese, basil, garlic and oil. The outside crust was just thick enough to act as a handle... chefs kiss
In a word, OUTSTANDING! This is not your standard pizza shop pizza, this is a handcrafted work of art. From the crisp crunchy crust to the homemade sauce and seasonings this was voted the best of 2017 for a reason. Simply put, this is the best pizza around! We had a large with sausage and it was great, it was cooked perfectly and tasted even better. Being from NE Philly, I have a couple of decent options for pizza but nothing compared to the quality and taste of Bella Maria. Also, the owner Alex, a super nice guy that took a few minutes to talk to me while crafting a Brooklyn style pizza, is warm and friendly and was truely happy to have a new customer. Alex, Maria was right, you do make the best pizza!!! My family and I will definitely be back.
Where to begin? After years of anticipation and finally making the trip from Alabama to meet with the Gervasio family and enjoying their amazing food, my expectations were blown away! We started with their take on a Brooklyn style pizza and oh my lord was it amazing!!! The fresh crushed tomatoes and that family recipe crust is the best pizza combination I’ve ever tasted hands down. Their standard round pizza was just as tasty and the Stromboli as well! I stumbled on the place by accident. I was trying to find a specific place to eat and got lost. I have never been so happy to have missed my turn. The staff at Bella Maria was an absolute delight. They were kind enough to guide me to a delicious lunch option for my picky child and gave me my first cheesesteak experience. They are also just enjoyable to have a conversation with. My cheesesteak was absolutely delicious with perfectly seasoned meat and a proportional amount of wiz. I actually ate the first half before I remembered to grab a picture for the review. My sons chicken tenders were different from the typical zaxbys style tender most are accustomed to. The very flavorful but light breading still managed to provide a delightful crisp with each bite. I have a feeling anything eaten from this restaurant will provide an equivalent experience. Try anything here, I bet you will be glad you did. For my son I got the tenders and fries kids meal, and for myself I got the steak with cheese. I am ready to try the tomato pie and pizza steak next time. I haven't reviewed a place in 2 years, and almost never fo anyways. This one deserved it.
Bella Maria is awesome! I had a big order to pick up, and was a few minutes early. The manager told me the pizzas were still in the oven understandably. When the order was ready he told me to grab a soda on the house, and had one of his employees help me with getting the order out to my car. Everyone enjoyed the pizza, onion rings and fries as well! If I ever have an event in that area again, I will definitely order from here again!
The BEST pizza in B-town and our go-to spot at least 2-3 times / month. And Ashley is the sweetest waitress / counter person / jack of all trades out there. She’s great with my kids and always has a smile on her face. If you haven’t tried them yet you are missing out!
Cute, clean inside sitting area. Looked very nice! Mot sticks were AH-MAZING! Pizza was good. Smelled garlic-y before I even opened the box. Don't let that deter you though if you don't like garlic. It was not overwhelming in the slightest. I definitely want to explore their other menu options.

I've been reading all the glowing reviews about Bella Maria - so decided to give it a try. The Brooklyn Pie was a delight - lots of flavorful tomato on a tasty crust. It reminded me so much of pies I enjoyed for years at a place in NJ's Columbus Market called Kate & Al's. The scent of Bella Marie's pie was enticing & the flavor delicious. So happy this treat is now available locally.
First time stopping & I got a gourmet veggie pizza & a cheesesteak. Pizza was phenomenal! Cheesesteak was good as well, just a little skimp on the steak. Gentlemen making the pizza mentioned my name as he handed me the pizza. That small gesture made it feel very welcoming. Female at the counter handed me back the extra money I handed her by accident! Another genuine gesture. Place was clean & seemed family oriented! Will definitely recommend & will definitely return!!
This is hands down my favorite pizza. Their Brooklyn Pie is phenomenal. It does take 45 minutes to make and cook, so be aware. I give them an hour notice during dinner time. I saw another reviewer complain about the wait, but I was always advised of that when ordering a Brooklyn Pie. It is well worth it. The ‘regular’ pizza is also fantastic! I have also dined in and had great dinners! I see why it won Best of Bucks!
I was picking up smokes next door at the smoke shop so I decided to stop next door and picked up a menu. I went to my car for a smoke and I called and ordered a pizza fry to snack on the way home. I liked it. I'm happy they don't use crinkle frys like 99% of the pizza shops I encountered. Not like they are bad but I like the straight cut better and they have that here. The pizza frys was great. Could have used a little more cheese. Next Time I will ask for extra cheese. The cheese was a fair amount. I just like it cheesy cheesy. I was happy with the service. They put my sauce on the side like I asked and the people were friendly. No complaints. I'm curious to try the meatball sandwich. Anybody know if they use homemade meatballs?
