Out of this world Delicious. Try the Loaded Fries, Caution π you might want to eat them at home because you're going to want to go straight to sleep after eating them. LOL. Very Filling and Scrumptious. Friendly Customer Service, Cable TV. Eat In, Restaurant has a very warm atmosphere. Visually Spotless Appearance. I've tried The Build Your Own Burger, Hot Wings, Loaded Fries and Onion Rings. Everything Taste Fresh and Mouthwatering Delicious. Give them a try. You won't be disappointed. I've learned today to Never Judge A Book By It's Cover. This place has A Big Heart Inside. 5 Stars Here.
Update: I tried the fried rice and didn't care for it but it's a burger joint so I'll just stick with the burgers.
I have passed this place so many times on the way to get food from somewhere else and NEVER knew it existed. Luckily a coworker told me about Big Boyz and we checked it out. First, let me say I love support to the local mom and pop places of St Louis as long as they have a good product and good customer service. Big Boyz seems to have both. As I walk in the owner/operator comes out from the back with a tray of rotel fries (pictured below) and offers us some free of charge! They were so good! This was my first impression of the place and I was digging it. I sat down and looked at the menu thinking I wanted everything. Lol They do have a good selection of "grill" food but really caught my attention was the fact they sell fried rice! They win cool points for variety. I ended up trying a burger (pictured below) and it was great. Hot, fresh, and smashed like steak n shake only thicker. I will be back for the fried rice. If it's as good as the customers say I'll move my rating to 5 stars.
The burgers here are amazing!!!! It's a lot better than other highly recommend places. If you're near the airport check out this place
I visited Big Boyz for the first time today. I ordered the St. Paul and Fried Rice. The St. Paul was official! Great taste, filling and a meal in itself. I would definitely grab it again. 5 STARS!
The Fried rice, it was ok.. In St. Louis it's different between city rice and county rice.. This had the city rice color but county rice flavor. I would get it again with Egg Foo Young Gravy because it needed a little more salt and I think the gravy could've done that for it. I'm from Walnut Park so I gotta give it 4 STARS!
I would go again for a few reasons. 1- it's a burger and wing spot so I know those 2 things are going to be amazing and thats their speciality. 2- I met the owner and he was dope! Down to earth and willing to explain the menu and give recommendations. 3- he mentioned soul food Sundays. Now I'm not a huge soul food fan but I can't turn down chicken wings and some filling sides..
Next time I come back, I will get the wings but I that St. Paul was official!
I had a 1/2 order of VEGGIE rice that was so good and moist I didn't even need to use my sweet and sour sauce π€π that's big
Customer service made me feel right at home and to top it off the food was made in perfect quality. Keep up the greatness!
This is a new place, so things are not going to be perfect coming out of the gate. I really liked the place and thought the staff was very friendly. It seems to me like a friends/family orientated place where friends of the staff come in and are warmly greeted. I don't mind someone singing to the music if they are in tune and the lady was in tune. I actually like how they are not "All Business".
The food was very good. I like crispier fries, but theirs were fine.
I don't go out for lunch very often, but I will be back and hope they have great success.

Just had their fried shrimp. I was a bit worried when I picked up the bag and it was pretty light. Don't judge a bag by its weight. That was some of the best fried shrimp I've ever had. The butterflied prawns were huge and the flavor was awesome. If you like shrimp, you have to try these. A+
Outstanding food! Cooked and seasoned to perfection. Some unique menu items featured catering to a variety of tastes and preferences. Pricing is great! Casual, comfortable, warm, friendly and inviting atmosphere. Clean restaurant and facilities. Can't wait to get back there. Tell a friend. Take a date. Did I say, "OUTSTANDING?" I DID!
The Shrimp is remotely comparable to the Famous Sarah Lou's Shrimp...Fire!!! π₯ π₯ π₯ π₯
So I am only giving 4 stars because of the wait time and the fact that it was so hot in the restaurant. I think the company could use more employees as they are very popular from what I saw. The staff that was there undoubtedly was friendly and did what they could do to accommodate. The food (I have only had the regular beef cheeseburger with fries as well as their chicken wings breaded and buffalo) was tasty overall but I think the burgers could use just a tad more seasoning to take it to the next level. Will try again soon to taste their fried rice and saint pauls. Would recommend if you are a foodie.
The food was great and the server was nice! We ordered the chicken bacon ranch burger, the big boyz burger, the cod fish sandwich and 1 lb honey bbq wings. All of the food we ordered was hot when served, delicious, and a good serving size. The fries are addicting. Didn't even take a picture since we were all hungry and dove right in. Cant wait to go back. Highly recommend you try it.
A friend from work suggested I go here. Since I was gonna be out and about anyway, I thought *shrug* "Why not??" Oh. My. Goodness. I was SO pleasantly surprised. Just a little mom and pop store, slightly off the beaten path, but nice. Friendly staff. Decent prices, considering the amount of food you get. I ordered the Big Country Burger, which is a cheeseburger with onion rings and BBQ sauce on it and I added bacon. All the burgers come with fries (and they're seasoned!!)
When I say I had to smash this burger down just to be able to bite it, I'm dead serious. I was staring at the thing for a few minutes trying to figure out how to tackle it.
And it was DELICIOUS!!!! This isn't the kind of burger you can eat and be cute or dainty. Sauce was all over my mouth and fingers. And I don't know what kind of BBQ sauce they used, but it was amazing!! I was dipping my fries in it.
Hands down, best burger I've had in St Louis, and I've lived here for almost 18 years. I MUST go back!!
1st time trying this today and everything was amazing not only did it look good it was. Staff and owner we're very professional. I got the king kong philly (i think that was the nameπ€¦ββοΈ)which is a mixture of steak and chicken with all the fix ins π was sooo good I want another one it can definitely feed 2 people. The honey hot wings and cheese fries was delicious as well the perfect mixture of sweet heat. My kids wanted a kids meal with a grill cheese sandwich and it wasn't on the menu and the owner still made it for us π the kids actually ate every bite they loved the cheese fries well we all loved the cheese fries I just wish the portions were bigger but they earned this 5 star!!
I love this place. Staff is always friendly and personable. Food is all good. Prices are very good. Every time I've been there, I feel like I'm visting friends. Not sure why. I don't know them. I wish these folks all the best.
