I ordered the Mie Tek Tek to go and I was impressed by the massive portions. The flavor however fell just a tiny bit short of being perfect along with the less than ideal ordering experience on the phone.
The flavor of the noodles was savory and not overly sweet but the claimed spice was not shining through so it ended being more one dimensional than I liked. They also claim to have a runny egg on top but mine was overcooked.
The phone ordering experience could definitely be improved. While ordering the dish, the person on the phone didn't ask whether it the noodles were to be stir fried or boiled. Also the spice level was not asked which was kind of surprising.
The food came out quickly and it was fast and easy to pay at the counter. I would still recommend checking this place out if you want a filling meal at a great price.
Food is very good! I love the Mie goreng with egg noodles and the Ayam goreng saus mantega.
Yummmmyyy!! Great for a spice lover like me! The Mei tek tek was sooo good! I would recommend a spice level 3, even if you can handle good amount of spicy, just so can still get the taste of the herbs.
Tasty and great value. The roti paratha is perfect: flakey on the outside, buttery and chewy on the inside.
Absolutely favourite spot for South East Asian food. Mi tek tek is mind blowing good!
Great service, and authentic delicious Jarkartan food. My brother got a soup and said he never tasted a spice like that before. I got veggie fried rice and it was more interesting with the chili paste mixed in (the paste is mildly spicy, just makes the mouth tingle). The portions were very filling, and we even got some more food to go!
Pretty good food, love the spicy chicken and their various noodle dishes. A note though: they have a lot of disclaimers and warnings about their spicy food, but I was able to handle a level 3 spice without breaking a sweat. Maybe they get a lot of complain-y first timers here.
