Bimbimbap was very flavorful and came with many fun sides like the excellent hot tofu soup.
It’s very easy to get vegan and gluten free item here. Good service!
One downside, the price is a bit high. $21 for bimbimbap (stone bowl) feels a bit high to me.
Great spot for satisfying your Korean food cravings! Got the stone beef bibimbap which came with extra spicy tofu stew, also split soy garlic wings which were super crispy and flavorful. Their kimchi is also A+!
Authentic Korean restaurant, fresh ingredients and fresh Banchan; always. Kimchi pancake is really good! Came for the kimchi pancake from reading the nytimes article, left this place happy and super full. We will be back!
Drove over an hour to go here because I heard they have biji-jjigae (ground soybean stew), and it was so worth it! It was flavorful and so hearty - a taste I’ve been craving for a while because no Korean restaurant in the Bay Area seems to have it! I was pleasantly surprised to see they even have mung bean pancakes! They were crispy and so good.
The restaurant itself is pretty clean and feels spacious. Our waiter was attentive and friendly. Definitely recommend!
Vegan tofu soup was better than expected! I got it spicy but it wasn't really that spicy. Could have gone for extra spicy. The mung bean pancakes were really good too. They remained crispy and not soggy even after cooling down.
So glad this place is in Berkeley. The food is authentic & very yummy. It's a bit pricey but worth it. The service is excellent. Our server was very helpful & went out of his way to show us how to eat the crispy rice.
Fish was fresh and tasty. The dishes were very flavorful! We had a good experience eating here.
wow! i can’t even describe how much my family and i love this place!! one of the best Korean places we’ve been to, the bibambap was fantastic and the tofu soup was so good too! (We are vegetarians btw)
