I ordered the Lamb Chops. They were well seasoned and cooked to perfect medium doneness which is how I ordered them a total of five came on my plate. Even though the menu stated the portion size would be 4 chops each chop was small but the total portion size was filling and adequate. My entree came with Basmati rice with saffron. I rarely eat rice but this was so light and flavorful that I ate it all. The deeply charred tomato added a wonderful balance to the lamb and its mildly, gamey taste. Along with the protein and starch came a fresh and crisp mixed green salad with freshly sliced tomatoes and a herbaceous vinaigrette. For dessert, I had what I thought to be a large piece. Of Baklava. It was light yet substantial and not too sweet. A perfect finish to a delicious and satisfying meal.

Best Persian I’ve ever tasted !!!! FRESHLY MADE!!! Best quality persian home cooked recipe style !!! The chicken is soft , juicy & the most tenderest I have ever tried !! Rice came out very warm and steamy !!! Made my mouth super watery 😍 !!! I highly recommending coming here !!!! Customer service is very very great ! Super friendly !! & clean !! Great overall experience!! I was amazed by the food & also the great service! Prices are really really great !!! Lowest prices I’ve seen for Persian food !!! alborz is almost double the price & not as good & their customers service is not so great, workers are always with an attitude at alborz, but Daryoush is 100% better in customer service & food ! I’d give 10 starts if I could , 5 isn’t enough! I’ll be coming soon again for this amazing food!🤩

This is one of my rare 5 stars. Can you get better Persian food elsewhere. The answer is yes but not at these prices. This is a place that is about 50 feet from the entrance to the UCB campus. The prices here are usually outrageous. We managed to stay below $150 for 4 with 4 mains, 2 appetizers, 2 soups, 3 teas and 1 dessert. Everything we tried was delicious. The kebab was fantastic. Note that the rice portion is massive for one person. If you are ordering appetizers then split a kebab dish: unless you a large hungry man, this is a very large portion. I recommend the sultani order.

Highly professional and clean establishment. From talking on the phone to being promptly seated and receiving delicious fesenjan (all-time fav Persian dish!), I felt respected and welcome. Not sure if they’re affiliated with the Darioush winery in Napa but they have their wine available and have photos of Persepolis on the wall so you feel like you walked into a unique place! Support ethnic and support small business!

Daryoush was one of the top 3 Persian restaurants I have been in different US cities. Taste was so good. The beef kabob was so yummy and fresh so that it would melt in mouth. Also, the Manager, Daryoush is a very humble, nice and welcoming man.

Excellent Persian food in Berkeley! This place is a bit of a hole in the wall but some of the best Persian kebab I’ve had in the Bay Area!

The food is so good - our Iranian friends agree this is the best Persian food in Berkeley! It's yummy comfort food that would take so much work to make at home! And they're such nice people, and they always deliver sooner than the predicted arrival time (40 mins ETA, they'll be there in 25).

Very friendly owner/manager (nice Persian guy with glasses), great food as well. We love Persian food and as we were visiting from out of town, we wanted to have some good Persian food in the Bay Area. This place had the highest rating on google and we came by to try out. Koobideh was one of the best we’ve tried. Super tender and juicy. Barg was decent and chicken was great too. We really enjoyed the food and especially their hospitality. We will return
