There is no better place to get coffee. That is all there is to say. A must try and an even better return. Highly recommend the 1950 pour over, almond milk latte, all the Starter Bakery pastries, and the entire staff (especially the staff, but also the lattes).

I loved the concept of supporting and helping refugees though coffee . The design of cafe is too good and it allows the communities to learn about refugees journey to the USA .The latte , chai latte , mochi muffin was awesome !The wifi is great too. So much love and wishes from Canada ! So proud of my brother Doug.

Such warm, friendly, hardworking staff. On different visits, I've enjoyed the latte, mocha, hot chocolate, chamomile tea (small but good selection of tea) and a green onion/cheddar muffin. I so want them to succeed! They are doing a lovely job and you can't have too many cafes in town. Glad to have 1951 and its lovely staff in our community.

This place can never let you down. It has amazing coffee, literally the best I've had in California. Pastries are perfect too - I've tried the chocolate chip cookie and the chocolate croissant, both buttery, chocolatey, just impeccable. The decorations in the shop are very educational about refugees in America, which is the cause that underlies this business. I would fly back here just to visit this cafe. Amazing. I just can't reiterate how amazing this place is.

I love this place. Great selection of pastries, great coffees and other unique drinks. I particularly like their latte (with milk and non-dairy alike) and matcha latte (I prefer iced). I have made ample use of their "10 stamps to a coffee" stamp card! As for pastries, they sell mochi muffins by Third Culture, classic, ube, and matcha varieties. I really enjoy the classic and ube with a coffee. They also have mochi donuts, which seem popular. Their chocolate croissants are also great Easy location especially if you're going to classes, just crossing campus, or waiting for your Amazon pickup. Unfortunately there is often a line during typical coffee times (i.e. around 9am) but the lines go fairly quickly. The baristas are always nice and pretty quick getting the drinks out even when there's lots of orders.
