I liked this small cute cafe. The lady serving us was very kind. It looks like the type of place I'd love to dine in precovid times. Next time I'm in Berkeley I'll be stopping by.
Liked the place and the flavor of the drink. they also have a good pastry selection and nice service. Discount if you pay with cash!
No wait, $5 or $6 large smoothie plus other drinks and Japnaese snacks. Very friendly, a lotta boba and the mango milk smoothie was very good. Dining inside or outside tables and steps.
U Cafe has some of the best boba I’ve ever had. I always go for a milk tea. They’ve always done well with my non-dairy milk teas, which has been hard for me to come by.
I can’t tell if they’re still open for business or if their hours have shifted because whenever I try to come during their listed hours, they’re closed :( Can anyone share whether they’ve been to U Cafe while it’s been open recently?
A small Asian bakery that is pretty comparable to Sheng Kee, it's slightly less quality but also very cheap and definitely worth the price for the baked goods, boba and dessert!
I like the breakfast items here, they have some kind of egg and ham sandwich/croissant that was a good deal and filling. The buns are also good- the pineapple and red bean are flavors that I liked that were well baked. I've also tried the milk tea specials and they were a pretty good value. Macarons here are also cheap. If you're looking for a quick snack without breaking the bank, UCafe is a good stop.
If I ever walk back from campus feeling boba, most times I’ll grab boba here. The milk tea has just the right texture. Not too thick nor watery. If you’re a fan of sweet drinks (which I am very), this is the place for you. I recommend the lychee jelly :) .
5/5 would come again for boba. Pretty underrated place in my opinion, give it some love 😗
