Stopped over tonight to grab a quick meal to eat at home. Got a mix of king and snow crab legs (on special) steamed, steamed jumbo shrimp, some fried soft shells, and some other things... seriously some of the best seafood we've ever had! We walked in and ordered at the counter, but they take orders over the phone too. Might have been 15 min from order till when it was ready. They have a big patio area outside where you can eat there, and a big roller for paper too which was really nice to corral the mess at home! Friendly and quick service, excellent food-- highly recommend!
We were staying at Castaways & wanted to get steamed crabs & shrimp for dinner one night. Got them from here on Friday evening through references from other campers. They were delicious! We were hesitant bc they only had small & mediums. We ended up getting 2 dozen mediums & 1 pound of shrimp & they were so good! My husband grew up crabbing & he would have considered them larges! We also really liked how you had crab paper out front so we didn’t have to buy a whole roll! Would definitely recommend crabs & shrimp from here!!
Great place for seafood! It's pretty pricey. On top of that, they charge for utensils if you decide to get crabs and eat it there. On that note, their crabs are great! A bit too much seasoning, but some people may like that. Their fried oysters are also very good! It's a very good place to get seafood!
In terms of food this place is great. Had the flounder and softshell crab sandwiches 👍. It only has outdoor seating and no alcohol so you need to buy that next door. Very bare bones with take out or eat at the picnic tables and its on a busy road. Definitely go grab some food at this spot.
Visiting from the Bay Area and sea food was fresh and tasted delicious. Nice sitting area outside to eat. A little too much old bay seasoning on crabs for me. But overall experience was good. I recommend you stop by if in town

Perfect Thanksgiving Dinner in our new home for 2020. Heavy crabs perfectly prepared and ready right on time. Shrimp were also huge and cooked in a buttery sauce. Looking forward to ordering again.
2021 update: Easter for our friends and family and everything is still fantastic! So well enjoyed.
2022: our friends said they've been dreaming of the shrimp since having them last year at our house for Easter so of course I had to get dinner again. Full heavy crab cakes with little filler and cooked perfectly. Rockfish bites were delicious too.
Didn't eat here, just stopped for some spices but their outdoor area looked nice. They had a good brisk business going when we stopped in so seemed like their food is appreciated too. Prices are a bit high but it's quality seafood and prices are high everywhere. It wasn't outrageous and was on par with other restaurants we ate at during the week. I'd definitely like to try the restaurant portion out on our next trip.
Best crabs I have ever had! We got a bushel of medium/large. They were heavy and meaty and perfectly prepared. You know how sometimes the claws can be a little dry? Not these! Perfect. Dipped in vinegar and butter-SO GOOD! Can’t say enough good things.
This spot is my favorite! I travel frequently from Connecticut to Virginia and I have to stop here for some seafood! Highly recommend the crab fries!
