Highly recommend! We walked in to get coffee and were surprised by the rustic, beachy vibe inside and how the surf shop connected to the coffee shop! There was a cool focus wall made of different colors of wood! The clothing is very high quality and the owners were friendly and helpful! When I asked for another size, the owner immedatley went to check and brought it to me. Buy your Assateague shirts here!
Stopped in today for first time. First catch of our eye was a gorgeous dog lying on the floor soaking it all in. The atmosphere was perfect for the beach, nothing fancy, just casual and comfy. The coffee bar was small, just loved it. Met the owner, he was awesome to chat with, being coffee shop owners ourselves, it was fun to share ideas. He offered us a courtesy fresh acai bowl and suggested we sell them in our shop back in Pa. Todays first visit will now be a regular stop each and every time we come to the island. Five stars only because we cant vote six or more!!!!
My wife took me down to Assateague Island surf shop the first Saturday it opened for Fathers Day. We were the first ever patrons at the new surf shop. Amazing place! Pricing is reasonable for a surf shop. Owners and workers are friendly and knowledgeable. As a local, I will be back again soon.
Great surf shop!! Such a cool vibe / they have great coffee and amazing acai bowls AND are pup friendly. We chilled on the couch while watching some surf videos enjoying our coffee and acai it made for a perfect morning. Def coming here anytime I'm in the area!
Absolutely LOVE it here. They have the best and most unique items, the staff is super nice and friendly, and the cafe is amazing! Best smoothies and açaí bowls around. I love the laid back surf atmosphere, but most importantly I love that my dog can always accompany me here, and the staff gives her so many belly rubs and treats.

We visited the Surf shop during our mini honeymoon, not only was the staff amazing and incredibly friendly, but the shop itself was awesome. We visited twice in two days, LOVED the açaí bowls and coffee, as well as purchased wine from Boordys and other fun souvenirs. After not having visited ocean city for 11 years, I can’t wait til our next trip- specifically to Assateague Island Surf Shop!
That place was amazing. I'm a bit of a picky eater and I love smoothies that are non dairy. Walked in asked for my favorite smoothie and not even batting an eye made it for me. They did not have oranges but suggested clementines. My husband and daughter loved the place as well. They even gave great suggestions about getting lunch. A must stop for anyone.
We stopped in after our first night of camping on the island - loved it immediately! The *best* smoothies & iced coffees. They could put Starbucks out of business. Cute shop with lots of gear and cute novelty finds. We loved it!
Absolutely loved you store. Bought a surf top (rash guard) for my son that he will not take off. He wanted everything in the shop. Can't wait for you to take web orders.
