One of our favorite places for authentic Mexican food. The meat is flavorful and no chewy nerves or fat. My fave is carne asada and carnitas. We’ve loved everything we’ve tried. And the owner, Maria is so friendly and helpful.
This is the epitome of hole in the wall amazing restaurant. It is a taqueria, front and center. You come for the food, not the atmosphere... but the food is worth it, and at least for now, a great bargain. If you are looking for a place with a combo plate with ground beef tacos, you will be disappointed. However, if you are used to authentic Mexican food, not New Mexican food, this IS worth the stop. Plenty of deserts to choose from if you haven't really delved into that aspect of Mexican fare. We just tried Los seis Herman's, in The six brothers, and we will be back... often. My ONLY complaint is they serve their beans smooth... but after the puree texture, the flavor had the whole family scraping every drop with a fork, chip, etc.
Absolutely the best Mexican food on our month long trip! Authentic, family owned restaurant. The lady who took our order was very friendly and her mother, who I assume was the cook, made sure we were happy with our food. I had the carne asada tacos plate which was too much for me to eat. The street tacos were loaded. My husband had a shrimp dish and he really enjoyed it too. I would eat here often if wasn’t over 1700 miles away.
After reading some reviews my friend and i gave it a try. This will be my go to spot every time im in town. The service was great and the food was amazing. The best part is the price. You really get your money's worth.
The food here is AMAZING 🤩 perfect little hidden gem in Bernalillo! They have delicious aguas frescas and the salsa bar is phenomenal 🤤😋 great value and taste
A quick stop in for a few tacos is worth your while. They have a menu with pictures, but the staff is helpful.
One of the few Authentic Mexican restaurants in the area . Good variety of dishes and very affordable. I’ve been here several times and everything that I’ve tried has been very good
