World of Beer is a fantastic place to go after work with your coworkers. It has a relaxed yet lively atmosphere that’s perfect for unwinding. The drink menu is incredible with over 500 types of beer. This means everyone can find something they like, and it’s fun to try new beers too. The food is also great. We couldn’t get enough of the Mac and Cheese Bites. They’re crispy on the outside and gooey on the inside, and we ended up ordering more than one round. The Shrimp Tacos are another winner if you’re looking for something lighter but still tasty. The staff are super friendly and know a lot about beer. They make sure you’re taken care of and help you pick the perfect drink if you’re unsure. Overall, World of Beer has it all: great drinks, tasty food, and a welcoming vibe. It’s an excellent choice for a coworker hangout during happy hour.

WOB is, hands-down, the best place for Happy Hour in Bethesda! They always have a large selection of delicious, new and local beers on tap, and also boast a tasty and creative cocktail menu. Each time I visit, I find my new favorite drink! Their high-end pub food is absolutely delicious and pairs perfectly with their beer - highly recommend the German pretzel, Mac and cheese balls and the shrimp street tacos! They even have an equally delicious gluten-free menu. But what really sets this location apart is exceptional customer service. The manager, Brian, and his whole team went above and beyond to accommodate our company's last minute request for a 50-person holiday party, and everything turned out wonderful! Food and drinks were delicious, atmosphere was warm and friendly, and the staff couldn't have been kinder and more attentive. This is a team who obviously cares about and enjoys what they do. Can't wait to come back again soon!

The perfect spot to grab dinner and drinks before seeing a movie or wandering around downtown Bethesda. Lots of local Maryland breweries on tap, but really what you MUST get is the pretzel. Yes… so good.

Good pub food and an excellent range of draft beers. It's too bad that many of the draft beers are only sold in pint glasses -- I would have preferred less than 16oz. The food is respectable pub food -- tasty but nothing special. The service was outstanding. The server handled our table of 6 adults and 5 (!) kids with aplomb.

Food & Atmosphere are great! However, the server seemed more interested in the football game on TV than doing his job. Had to ask twice just to get a fork for a salad. Took drink orders that took unnecessarily long given it was Sunday night and by no means busy. Overall, you'll enjoy this establishment!

Now here's a spot where you get good food topped with great customer service. We tried this after an unpleasant experience at Caddies. Glad we tried this spot... definitely enjoyed the Superbowl here. I believe our waiter was Mike... big guy who definitely made it a great experience. Everyone in the place was hyped at the halftime show... definitely a cool environment to grab a beer w/ good company. UPDATE: Went back just to have drinks and had the pleasure of meeting Blue the bartender. The folks working here really are the coolest and the drinks are good 💯

Ok, so let me start off with the one big thing that kept World of Beer from being 5 stars. SLOW service. The service was slow as sin both times I was there. So if you're in a hurry, DO NOT eat here. The server's attitudes are also a grab bag. Some are friendly and quite good, others seem disinterested. With that out of the way... The food is extremely good. The fish and chips as well as the steak frites are both exceptional. Their $5 Monday burger is great, but be aware of upcharges that come with any and all addons. The atmosphere is cozy, but can be on the loud side as you'd expect from a bar. ALSO, I will credit the manager. I had a dispute and he came out to clear the issue up. I want to thank him for having the integrity to do that. I was going to give this place a 2 or 3, but the fact that the manager cared made me change my mind. The food is great, the beer and drink selection is great, just don't expect to be in and out particularly quickly.

The beer menu is off the hook, one of the best I’ve seen, and there are some knowledgeable staff here willing to chat with you about the beers. Visited a few times and the place filled up every night. I’d definitely go again.

The food was average but not great. The drinks are awesome though and worth the trip. Come for the drinks and bar snacks not the full meals.

If you like beer, you'll love World of Beer. Tons of draft and bottle selections. Nice Happy Hour prices, with $4 drafts and $5 share plates. We got the crispy chicken sliders, the margherita flatbread and the loaded tots. The tots and sliders were good, but the flatbread had some sort of pesto on it, definitely not margherita. They do have lots of televisions if you want to watch the games. They also host a trivia night. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating.

Friends and Family Pet friendly. Our server Chloé was very attentive. "Famous Celebrities" are here and given space and privacy. I couldn't believe Top Gun: Mavericks Cast was here after their promos at Station Networks

This place was so fun! We walked in and it happened to be trivia night so we participated for a bit. The pretzel and beer cheese was so good!! Loaded tots were great too. The wings were disappointing, they were pretty dry. The service was a little lacking. We had to ask for napkins and then also realized we had no silverware, so we had to hunt that down too. They seemed short staffed, so I'll still give them 5 stars overall. Would totally come back for the beer cheese sauce, YUM!
