We just got back from a fantastic dinner here. We arrived early so that we were able to order a lot items from their happy hour menu (way too many items since the portions were large), but as a result we got to taste six different appetizers/entrees before we had our main courses. Everything was delicious especially the Brussels sprouts. Additionally the duck and the steak were amazing. The prices were quite reasonable in light of the quality of the preparation and presentation. This is a must do experience.
This place is a GEM! Beautifully prepared, fresh, and creative flavors inside a beautiful atmosphere. I could not believe the variety of flavors in every dish that we tried! We got three happy hour specials (before 6pm) - the salmon collar, Brussels sprouts, and guacamole were all perfectly balanced in flavors and textures. At our table, we all agreed that the gazpacho was the best any of us had ever tasted. For entrees, we shared the duck breast and short ribs….although it took a half hour wait to come out, these dishes did not disappoint! The duck breast was especially special with a fantastic fruity sauce with Sichuan pepper flavors - a combination I didn’t think would work well together but actually was an explosion of flavors. The duck breast was perfectly cooked rare. The short ribs had the juiciest meat and fell right off the bone, and came with the most delicious mashed potatoes. The only thing I would critique is that the short ribs were a bit salty (it seemed like it would go really well with a starch or maybe more plain steamed veggies) but honestly everything was beyond delicious and we will definitely be back again!
My friend Que took me here. Wow. Nice little family run restaurant in Beverly Hills. Chancey and her son made me feel like family even though it was my first time at Prospect Gourmand. Que is the celebrity here. I had the Grilled Blackened Salmon. Fantastic. Very well taken care of by the whole family. Definitely a place I will be going back to the next time I am in the LA area. Check it out to decide for yourself.
Great place with friendly staff and awesome food. We went there for lunch and returned for dinner the same day because we liked it so much!
The sweet potato taquitos and the chocolate tart were my favorites but everything else we tried was really good too, including the drinks.
I would definitely recommend this place and come back whenever I get the chance.
My husband and I visited this establishment for lunch while on our honeymoon and walking in the door we were greeted with warmth! I had an amazing Korean bbq chicken sandwich while he had the chicken pieces which came with a whole chicken wing, chicken breast and thigh. Customer service was also top tier Chancy is amazing!! If your in the Beverly Hills area please stop by to pay her a visit!
Prospect Gourmand" is a charming restaurant that offers a delightful brunch experience. The menu features a range of options to suit everyone's taste buds, and the atmosphere is cozy and welcoming.
The Mushroom Goat Cheese Omelette was a standout dish - the eggs were perfectly cooked and the filling of mushrooms and goat cheese was rich and flavorful. It was a generous portion and left me feeling satisfied but not overly full.
My partner opted for the classic "Two Eggs *How You Like 'Em" and was not disappointed. The eggs were cooked exactly as ordered, and the accompanying sides of toast and hash browns were well-prepared.
For dessert, we tried the Ricotta Pancakes with fresh strawberries and maple syrup. While the pancakes and syrup were delicious, unfortunately the strawberries were not as fresh as we would have liked. However, it didn't detract from our overall experience.
The service was friendly and attentive, and the prices were reasonable considering the quality of the food and atmosphere. I would definitely recommend "Prospect Gourmand" for a satisfying brunch experience, and especially recommend the Mushroom Goat Cheese Omelette.
We really enjoyed our meal. Everything on the menu sounded great which made it difficult to choose from, but we ended up going with the brussels sprouts, mac and cheese, blackened salmon and the truffle chicken.
Everything was delicious and the salmon might be the best I've ever had.
Staff was incredibly nice and friendly too. We will be back!
We went along with my friend who hyped this place up since arriving in the area, and let me tell you it did NOT disappoint!!
Ordered the seafood tamale and sweet potato taquitos (pictured)
The service is awesome, staff was so sweet and attentive, and the owners are affable and thoughtful towards their patrons. Would highly recommend!
I just started working in this area and thank goodness I found this wonderful gem. I’ve been visiting everyday and everything on the menu is so unique flavorful and very fresh. Both indoors and outside dining. Very clean and the prices are very fair. My new fav spot for lunch I hope you enjoy the pictures as much as I enjoy the food.
Giving the atmosphere a 5 star just bc the food was so good I wanted to rate everything 5 stars but it’s totally a whole in the wall and not a place I would’ve ever thought to walk into but I’m so happy I did!
