They have the best steak sandwich on the coast! I love the place too. It is a peaceful place and the waitress was so friendly. Our food was brought to us quickly as well.
I came here for the dive bar experience. The drink was great; however, the grilled chicken sandwich was phenomenal. I also tasted my husband's burger, and it was the best burger I've ever had. Super cheap prices and cool atmosphere. 11/10 would go again.
Great people... if you're looking for drinks, they got "nothing new or good", and that's just the way I like it. If you're looking for a great dive bar, with a great/chill atmosphere and friendly staff, this is the place to be.
Heard I had to visit this place late for a steak sandwich. So after bar hopping along the coast, I sought out this local dive. A well kept secret dimly lit with candles, but bright with an energetic and friendly staff. I gave the bartender control of what I ate, requesting that she choose... The steak sandwiches or the burger. She soon brought out the burger!! A beautiful classic burger with fancy green lettuce and a bright red tomatoe. The bun was soft and tasty and the beef was cooked perfectly juicy. Definitely a great choice!! A must try!

Pulled up over the tracks and into the empty front parking and it looked as basic as in the picture I’d seen. We walked in and were greeted by what seemed to be absolute darkness except we were able to make out the figures of other guests. We found our way to a table. Amazingly enough after a few minutes our eyes were able to adjust and it looked like a pretty cool place, fortunately physically as well as the ambient! The sweet bartender/waitress came right over. We’d been keen on the “The Best Hamburger on the Coast” our entire drive from Mobile, the lounge was our destination. We had dressed medium-well burger, one with my choice of cheese and two 1/2 and 1/2 teas. The guy at the grill right at the bar went to work his magic and less than 10 minutes later we had two lovely burgers on a bed of potato chips. They were darn good and we added nothing to them, ketchuped and mustarded to perfection! A trip back is definitely on the books. $18 including a good tip we were on our way! I’ll admit that due to the darkness I had my burger sans cheese and my companion with but the food was so good we literally didn’t notice until her last bite!!!

I don't really drink a lot but I love ordering food and picking it up, you guy's have the best burgers around and I love the potato salad
We love this place. We actually had our first meal together as husband and wife here. Great food and great atmosphere. My husband used to go here all the time years ago and he'd always talk about it so after we got married we decided to have our dinner here and I loved it. We try to go back regularly whenever we get the chance.
Get the prime rib sandwich! Omg its phenomenal!! Atmosphere is super chill and prices are reasonable. Free popcorn is awesome too. Lol
If you like a dive bar with great service and amazing food, you'll fit right in.
And anything that has ribeye in it is amazing!

Superb Burgers. The Best on the Coast....I don't care what anyone else says. For years the Project has been known for their burgers and steak sandwiches and nothing has changed. A classic bar, filled with all the characters that John Grisham could want to place in Biloxi, and maybe some he did use, this is the ultimate bar feeding joint in town. Drinks with so much alcohol in them that the mixer is just for coloring or flavor, bartenders that will have no problem letting you know that THEY run the place, and if you treat them right, you'll enjoy yourself. When you walk in, just give yourself a few seconds to adjust to the dark, then find a seat and relax and enjoy. Barbara and the rest of the gang will take good care of ya, right Martha?
Great old Burger Place. This place is darker than entering a movie theatre, and one of a dying breed. No windows at all. All of the memorabilia and decor suggests that it hasn't left the early 70s The burgers aren't huge, and are served on a small bun like you might see at McDonald's. Its just the right size, and quality meat. Another total favorite. I've also tried the ribeye sandwich, which is more popluar than the burger, but its a whole ribeye with a bit of fat. I'll stick with the burger.

I have been visiting this place for a year. Every time I've placed an order at this place it has come out exactly as ordered. This is by far the best Dive Bar I've ever been in. I work in a similar bar in Huntsville, AL and this is by far a much superior version. As I have stated in previous reviews I am a chef and by nature I dissect did that I eat/ feed my family. I have ordered 6 plus burgers too take home to the family to eat. I have dealt with family members "Craving"the burgers so much that I ultimately relent and just go monthly to get burgers (sometimes several times a month). The Tuna Steak is always cooked to perfection and very tasty. The drinks are cold and made properly. The prices are extremely reasonable and the staff is always on top of their craft. Thank you to The Project Lounge for being an amazing piece of my past year. Looking forward to coming here even more often as I transition to a permanent resident. If you haven't given this place a visit yet stop wasting your time and get there as soon as you're done reading this.
The best hamburger in Biloxi and just maybe the whole Gulf Coast. The tuna steak sandwich is legit as well.
HANDS DOWN BEST BURGER IN TOWN- Our friends who said this was the burger spot were absolutely correct. They told us it was a local spot and a hole in the wall. It is, and was delicious. The bartender/server Lisa was fantastic. She had a big rush when we arrived and handled it like a pro. The bar has no windows and is dark and moody and smoky. We grabbed our burgers to go to enjoy the weather. The burgers were big, juicy, super flavorful, fresh ingredients all around from the toppings to the bread. The steak sandwich was good but lots of fatty bites took away from it. Really unique potato salad was also good.
Hole I'm the wall/locals spot. It's super dark until your eyes adjust. They pour a good drink and have fantastic steak sandwiches. Small menu but anything u order is just delicious! They are know for their burgers and everything is grilled on a small grill right behind the bar. Sorry no fryer but it is of no concern the burgers can hold their own and you won't feel jipped..highly recommend if you are in the mood for some local conversation and a full belly.
This place is a local place hidden from the tourists. Order the steak sandwich it's spectacular with just the perfect amount of everything. Truly appreciated the staff and patrons knowledge and advice ordering a delicious dish. Make this a must see if you find yourself anywhere with in driving distance. You will be plenty pleased with the price, atmosphere, and service!
Just drove in from Destin and had the best hamburger I've had in a LONG TIME! Good neighborhood dive bar with a mix of music. Dim lights with old school candles. You can also smoke inside wile enjoying cold adult beverages!
