As a self-proclaimed coffee shop connoisseur, this place is just what Blacksburg was missing. The shop has an aesthetic of its own and is the perfect balance of middle-eastern culture and hole-in-the-wall, urban pride. The refreshing young staff are all very relational- they strive to remember you and it is made clear that they see you as much more than just a customer/order. This coffee shop's unique atmosphere attracts a vibrantly youthful and diverse community. Each cup of coffee is individually made and and presented in a very artistic manner. And if you're not a huge fan of coffee, this shop also offers, the rightfully so hyped-up, rolled ice cream and a delicious selection of crepes. FOAMO is the place to be!

Had the strawberry nutella crepe and the honey latte on opening day and they we're both really good. Great environment. Will be coming here instead of Mill/Next Door Bakeshop from now on!
A wonderful cafe with beautiful aesthetics that will satisfy your sweet tooth. Honey latte and Moroccan tea are my personal favorites. Oh and the classic strawberry nutella crepes!
I'd give it 6 if my names on the menu. Crepes and ice cream were amazing though

My family and I had the pleasure of stopping by FOAMO to sample the crepes, Thai rolled ice cream and coffee. While they were just wrapping up some last minute construction in back, the front of the house was clean, lively and fun with an artsy, industrial decor. The service was really fast and we went all in. Everything was made to order right in front of you!
We had the Nutella and strawberry crepes and my daughter also had the pb&j crepe and she immediately said it was th "perfect comfort food" salty sweet, carby and delicious. I had decaf lungo coffee, it was on target, very smooth and strong. Next we had the Thai rolled ice cream, plain strawberry, cookies and creme and peanut butter chocolate coco puffs. It was off the hook! It is worth going just to see them make it !
I spoke w/ the owner and he said they worked through dozens of recipes over the past year to find the perfect combination of sweet, texture and flavor combinations. It was fantastic and worth going to see them make it right in front of you on these cool flat metal disks, (think Kabuki grill, cook on the table, but with ice cream). Not only is it a cool show, the ice cream was really fresh and the flavors were perfectly balanced.
The ice cream was served standing up in paper bowls and the crepes were served on these really cool slab plates. All in all it was a huge hit with the family, FOAMO, we will be back for sure!
It's always fun to eat here. Highly recommend their crepés! Their team members are always very nice.
Loved the ice cream! Awesome presentation and some cool flavors. Also, tried the various Chai flavored teas and they were great too!
One of the most unique and amazing places I have been to in recent memory.
Every detail is thought about carefully and any customer can tell that the owners try their best to stand out from regular cafes/ice cream shops. From the crepes that they serve on a beautiful wooden plank plate(never seen this before) to their bathrooms which impress immediately when you first walk in with awesome lighting fixtures. It is extremely hard to make a cafe and even harder to make a great cafe but Foamo nailed it and keeps changing for the better.
I would recommend the Nutella crepe and any rolled ice cream as they are all taste AND looks amazing. 🍨
I was really very impressed with this place. The care put into every aspect of your order is so amazing and you get to watch them make whatever you get. The line is very long but for good reason…it’s great! It’s a very trendy little place and the staff is super friendly. They offer a selection of crepes, rolled ice cream, and teas.

Awesome coffee shop. It's been pretty popular every time I've been. The coffee is much better than other places around and the prices are better too. The ice cream is fun to watch being made and better than the store bought stuff. If you have a sweet tooth I highly recommend the chocolate Oreo crepe. With a thick chocolate drizzle sprinkled with Oreo crumbs on the inside it's to die for.
Tasty crepes and Nespresso coffee/espresso drinks. We had peach cobbler, chocolate banana and berry berry crepes, all delicious. I only gave 4 stars because we came in for the rolled Thai ice cream but they didn’t have a skilled person to make it and they were out of many ingredients from the menu. I’d still go back def.
