If you’re in the area and looking for a home cooked meal and great prices this place is the best! We came on Easter and they had a different buffet with feel good foods that left us feeling more than satisfied. Their smoked roast beef and creamed corn were delicious. Definitely a small town gem!
"Grits and Greens" - yum!
This humble restaurant has got it goin on!
Tried for lunch and went back the next day for breakfast. You can order off the menu for lunch or have a cafeteria style meat + veggies. I had the grilled pimento cheese on sourdough and added bacon and it was great. The Club was packed with good stuff and the collards were very good. The next day I had the goat cheese omelet with home fries and was very impressed. They are not skimpy with the ingredients! The prices are very reasonable especially in today's inflationary market. All our food was prepared and cooked to order. Our server, Kelly was terrific and the whole staff may be the hardest working people in Blairsville ! They have a few tables for outside dining and their patio is pooch friendly as long as your pooch is well behaved 🐕🦺
The Blairsville Restaurant Grits & Greens was very busy when we went, but we did not have to wait long to get in. The staff was very welcoming and attentive and all the food we ordered was good. The portion sizes are large and we took almost half of our meals to go. They also offer a buffet. I am sure we will be back again.
Food is FIRE!!! NICE INDEED. WILL DEFINITELY GO BACK IF IM IN AREA. MASHED POTATOES, MEAT LOAF, FRIED CHICKEN, MAC N CHEESE, SWEET TEA
MAN HOME COOKING AT ITS FINEST.
Great place!
From Florida and wanted some country cooking!
Hit the spot!
Valerie was awesome!
Oh my gosh! Sweet staff and delicious food. Menu items were good as well as the cafeteria style. Staff made a mistake with an order and promptly fixed it and apologized genuinely. Also comped a dinner. We had planned to dine there again while on nourish trip but just run out of time. Would definitely eat there again. Highly recommend!
Came here while we were on a trip to Blairsville. The food was so delicious that my Husband said he would love to drive the 2 hour drive back just to eat there. The prices were comparable to other nice restaurants and portions sizes were extremely generous. We talked to our waiter and he said most of the food is local. You can tell! Everything tasted so fresh, especially the fried green tomatoes.
So, I like going to this restaurant because they have these like breakfast tacos that are amazing. They're kind of spicy but super tasty. However I will say the coffee is very bland. And I do love a good cup of coffee so this isn't a place I get that. I am also not a huge fan of their biscuit recipe. The gravy is fine but the biscuit is weirdly crumbly and hard to eat. I have to admit, I don't go here often for lunch or dinner. So I can only give my rating for the breakfast menu.
