This restaurant is a gem!! The food is all made from scratch. The crab cakes are to die for!! The service was the absolute best. The server noticed that my parents were still wearing their coats, and they offered to turn the heat up. Which they did. Absolutely wonderful experience in every way! Cannot recommend more highly!!
We order take out from the Brasserie frequently. Did the same tonight.....the garlic parm wings on special this week are the best wings we've had in a very long time! Bold smokey flavor, crispy parmesan crust, not the slightest bit greasy nor too garlicky, no bleu cheese needed.....and no heartburn! We really wish these were a permanent menu item. And those pretzel rolls! So nice to finally have a place in town with such high standards for the quality of food and drinks they put out.

Great food, great service and the perfect getaway for a quiet dinner with my bride. We just loved the atmosphere and the Jazz playing in the background. Fresh, made to order fare that is reasonably priced yet delivers high end flavor. Local brews on tap and a menu with suggested pairings. Wow! This place is a gem. We'll be back!
A friend brought us delicious soft pretzels the size of a newborn baby and an amazing crab fondue. So. So. So. good. and obviously homemade. I will be trying to make it to Bloomfield to try the rest of the menu.
Had a DELICIOUS and extremely affordable dinner at Big Bass tonight! Great atmosphere and very personable waiter! We've decided that this will be our go to place on the nights the kids have their school dances. Just sorry we didn't try this place sooner!
It was absolutely amazing! The owners were very conscious of my food allergies and went above and beyond to make sure I had no reactions to food being mixed. They took the time to make my meal separate. Everything was delicious. The dessert was awesome. My cheesecake was light and airy. Highly recommended!

We enjoyed a wonderful dinner tonight...our first visit to the Big Bass Brasserie. Our meals were delicious, the host and our server were both very welcoming and attentive, and the ambiance was so cozy and relaxing. We will be back!

Very small, informal feel to the restaurant. The menu options are very limited, but the food was amazing when we got it, and the staff were very friendly. When the chef carries the food out to you along with the waitress, you know it's a cozy mom and pop place. The turkey enchiladas and crab cakes were spot on. This place is a gem hidden away in this small town.
We were headed to Cafe Sol but they are closed and only do catering now. :(. What a find in the Big Bass. Local Craft beer, wine. Food was great!!!. The place is eclectic for sure. Couple big fish tanks. One with a big bass. We had the table next top the front window. Nice steel table just like grand mother's. We had crab fondue appetizer. Like a hot creamy crab dip. Delish. We got bacon wrapped scallops over a bed of lightly curried linguini and turkey enchiladas. Both were supreme. We'll be back soon for sure.
Just recently moved to the area and got a recommendation from a colleague in Rochester. It truly is a gem in the area. The food was outstanding from the homemade bread on through the entrees. Cannot wait to go back!
Small space, small menu...BIG TASTE!!! From the home made bread to the home made desserts, all four of us agreed, everything was delish! Very reasonably priced. Definitely worth the drive!
