Awesome authentic Indian food in a friendly family restaurant with very reasonable prices, this is probably THE best Indian restaurant in Chicago, I have tried so many I have lost count. I wouldn't hesitate to give it 5 stars. Here is just a little background, we moved to the USA from our hometown of Birmingham in England 3 years ago, Birmingham is a huge cultural mix of a city but mainly consisting of Indian and Pakistani residents making up 70% of its population, so to say we literally grew up eating very good Indian food is understatement, initially after our move we struggled to find good 'home style ' Indian food but we definitely found it here at Saffron. The owner Mr Roy and his chefs are knowledge and passionate about the food they serve, always willing to listen to suggestions or recommendations and often accommodating us with dishes that are not even on the menu to savor and enjoy. The produce used is fresh, the dishes are very authentic and cooked to a high standard, for those that expect Indian food to be cooked fast...don't!....this is not fast food, the dishes are a complex blend of fresh ingredients spices and cooking skill and therefore take a little more time to prepared well, consider this when frequenting any good Indian restaurant anywhere in the world, but Saffron does a superb job of getting this balance right. Mr Roy and his family and staff have created a very fine Indian dining experience in the Chicago suburbs, I would recommend a visit.
The Saffron is the best dine-in and event caterer of Indian cuisine in the entire Chicago-land area. The management and staff are always extremely friendly and professional. They have years of experience in the industry, and the amount of work they put in to make customers happy is incredible. If you have an event to cater or are just hungry, The Saffron is the place to go.

I have been here a couple of times. The lunch buffet has a lot of variety, everything tastes great and there are many vegetarian options. This is one of my favorite Indian restaurants in the Chicago area.
We LOVE Saffron! We are working our way through the menu. Have enjoyed everything we've tried!

Our daughter's wedding and many Diwali parties you have done for us. Kobawala family is very grateful for your hard work and love poured in. Awesome food, almost eat twice a month...
We ordered a spicy dish, the chef came out to ask how spicy he should make the dish. he came back while we were eating to check on us; we felt like VIP'S with all the attention. the rest of the staff was just as attentive. The food was excellent. only issue for me was no refills on soda.

The best Indian food. Love the taste and quantity is great. Price is great too. We ordered 1 Thali, plenty of food for 2-3 people.
We love trying different restaurants and this one didn't disappoint. Our meals were flavorful and authentic. Our server was attentive. We will gladly return.
Great delicious dishes, and very helpful staff
I visited this restaurant back in 2019 and totally forgot how good it is. I was in a mood for Indian food and Saffron did NOT disappoint. Probably one of the best in Illinois. Plus the service was on point. Both employee were very friendly and welcoming. They even offer for me to stay in the car and they will bring my food out. Great experience. Let’s talk about the food. So fresh, high quality ingredients. Spices on point. The naan was amazing. Both the vegetable and chicken samosa were like an explosion of goodness in your mouth. I highly recommend this place.
Worked with Roy for our wedding catering and he was amazing to work with. Food and service were both phenomenal. I highly recommend Saffron for wedding catering.
I order delivery from Saffron several times a month. Their food is always top-tier and delicious! My favorites are their chicken tikka masala and naan, which I highly recommend!
Good food. But I wish they would bring back the buffet. My family would go every week!!
I ordered this place a couple of times on Uber Eats and it was very good, decided one day to order it and pick it up on my way home. I ordered directly from their website, there was an issue where they did not receive the order that came in from their website so it wasn't ready when I got there, so I recommend you order from Uber Eats or Doordash or something if you order take out. They were very apologetic though and I showed them what I ordered and they made it up really fast and offered me a discount for having to wait. Staff was very friendly and customer service was great, the food was also spectacular. I will be ordering from them again any time I want Indian food.
Incredible food. Delicious and unique flavors for every dish. The Nan is perfect every time.The portions are generous and taste wonderful. One of my favorites in bloomingdale.
Some of the best Indian food I have had. So much flavor throughout all of the dishes. Not one of my dishes tasted bland or bad. Naan is cooked to perfection. The shrimp curry is out of this world!! Cannot wait to eat here again.
Awesome! My self and my wife visited this restaurant along with my son and daughter who live here, we had travelled from india, it was indeed a very courteous staff and especially the owner very caring , he was very attentive regarding serving very delicious and tasty food . Honestly i have never ever experienced this kind tasty food and excellent hosting at any place in U.S. even in our home country. I would certainly recommend all indians visiting Chicago and neighbourhoods to visit this restaurant .
