Nightshop is doing their best to continue to serve the community! We ate on their outdoor patio recently for brunch. They have a great selection of brunch items and it's one of my favorite places for brunch. Their menu has changed a bit since they originally opened but I always leave satisfied. They have Bailey's now which is nice! They have an excellent beer selection and the staff is attentive and knowledgeable.
Great selection of beers, with a frequently-changing list that often brings back the most popular drafts of previous rotations. Great entertainment, including live music, karaoke, and the occasional movie. They've almost always got something entertaining on the TVs, and the staff are usually pretty quick to come take your order when you're ready.
This establishment was lovely, a modernized tavern-style theme with vegan comfort foods, yes please! I was overwhelmed at how mouthwateringly delicious the vegan fry basket was but was rather disappointed by the salted exterior of my tacos. I could barely finish the tacos due to the overwhelming amount of salt and lack of overall flavor. I apologize for my honesty but would most definitely try the rest of your vegan menu the next time I pass through the area because I’m sure they’re wonderfully delicious! The staff was handsomely kind and accommodating.
A uniquely styled restaurant with a developed variety of food. Really nice iced tea that compliments the food well. I got the brisket hand held with the rotating cold side, which were both exceptional. We also got the brisket nachos, pork belly ends (a bit salty, but tasty) and feta hand pies. The restaurant has a very nice, modern atmosphere/mood that would seem to have a very cool night life, especially with dart machines and a big stage. Overall a good experience.
Gourmet breakfast. Best biscuits and gravy I've ever had. Biscuits are light and fluffy and made from scratch. Gravy is nice and rich with delicious crumbled sausage and a slight spiciness. The eggs Benedict is great with a homemade hollandaise sauce. The potato cake is just a hash brown patty, but is good. My wife loved the scrambled eggs with cheddar and the sweet potato hash. The bacon tasted good but was so thick and tough that it was difficult to chew. Not a warm ambience as it is a bar, but the staff are great and very friendly.
Good food. Their menu is unique for bar food. Even pleases my vegetarian wife. Good beer choices. Always find a new one i like. With 25 taps, hard to go wrong. Great prices. Great service. Every bartender we've met is friendly no matter how busy they are. Our go to place when we go to downtown Bloomington.
The Nightshop bar was a good surprise in Downtown, Bloomington, IL. The place is modern, new and offers great food and a good selection of drinks, especially craft beers. The staff was absolutely friendly, prompt and attentive. There was a bartender girl from Spain and she was fantastic. If you like Wings, I recommend the Sweet Chili Wings and you won't regret it. They are delicious and served in a good quantity. Also, if you like dark beers, the number 14 in the list is one you must try.
The bar has internal and external area and many darts machines so you can have fun playing it. They also have a karaoke day, so fun.
If you are in Bloomington, IL looking for someplace to drink beers and eat something, this is a very good option.
Love going there, the owner and the staff are really nice. The service is fast, the food is great! Me and my husband go there for our Weekly date night!
So many great vegan choices. The jackfruit nachos were delish. The vegan cashew queso is QUITE scipy, but very tasty.
This place is a gem. The best place to see smaller touring bands from all over. Plus, they have pinball games. The only place within MILES. They usually open at 6, but sometimes at 4 too. Doesn't hurt to call and check is you are going in early.
First time here and mind blown 🤯🤯 I absolutely love this place. They have a little bit of everything for everyone. Vegans, vegetarians, meat eaters. I will definitely be coming back here. Yes please!!!
Maz Overhaze, Great beer. We sat outside on the patio. Very quiet at 10am. There where a few families and other couples. Nice service.
Update! We came back for lunch! The service was great again and they remembered us. I didn't realize at first but everything on their menu is grown or made in town! They serve gluten free, vegetarian and vegan!
Fun, diverse menu - have only been here for breakfast so far, and it's often quiet that time of day. Good place to meet and talk. Friendly service; were very helpful with an allergy question relating to a menu item.
Had such a great night partying with the band! Drove 5 hours just to get here. Small but clean bathroom. Friendly bartenders. Average price drinks but watered down. Small venue but there's a whole outdoors patio area that's very spacious. Would definitely come back.
The bartenders and their service at this establishment are always beyond great. Good service, good conversations, and a good time. If you come around during the right nights, there's a live band playing too. They also accommodate for the sound sensitive by offering ear plugs, which is very kind.
Didn't eat here but everything else was on point. And the band, Kill the Martian was right up my alley! Perfect fit for our Bad Moms Christmas party!! 🎄
