Best restaurant in Twin cities for Authentic South Indian food. The dine in area is very minimal and I recommend this place for carry out.
Excellent food and supreme service!! I had the curry tikka masala - amazing flavor. Garlic naan was delicious, too!
Phenomenal food!!! Great staff, very friendly. The pepper chicken and lemon rice ROCK! Dan
Delicious food!!! Great spices.....Learned a lot about Indian food...very informative server.
Great experience! Food was so delicious and the service was excellent. We have lived in the Bloomington/Richfield area for quite some time and wish we would have known about this place earlier.
This is the real deal. I hope they open more hubs around the area, but I'll drive there any day.
Simple restaurant, spot-on Indian food. I love the lime rice.
Been here countless times - chicken biryani is the best I've ever had anywhere. Tonight the service was outstanding!
Very nice food and very good service with good host, Navin. We would like to visit again n again.
Just try it...mind blown.
Best ever!!! LOVE!!!!!!!!!!! I WILL BE COMING HERE EVERY WEDNESDAY FOR THE FORESEEABLE FUTURE
I adore places where the food is so good you don't care about anything else! BEST INDIAN FOOD I HAVE TASTED! I had lamb curry at a spice level 10 out of 10 with garlic naan. Fabulous! This place makes me wish I lived here! I'm a little jealous of the young man who just moved here after graduating from Purdue ... or the couple from Iowa who live 3 hours away and eat here every time they come. They don't even eat rice or bread and yet this menu has them coming back and back and back. I've been interviewing people about their food choices. I just met a man who moved here from Ethiopia. He has lived in the area 25 years and after finding this place, he's been eating here ever since. According to him, nothing else comes close!
Cozy environment with really nice staff. The waitress was very accommodating. We asked for very spicy food, but the food ended up not being spicy enough for us, but the food!!!! Their Hyderabad goat biriyani is the best I have ever had. I cook goat biriyani and eat it in restaurants all the time. My family is hooked on my biriyani, but I am hooked on their biriyanis. Their slightly overcooked rice is full of beautiful flavor and charm. It was soft and fluffy and I just couldn't stop eating. The meat is so soft and the spices have gotten rid of the usual goat meat smell completely. The flavor is just perfect. Their masala chai is very well done as well. 5 out of 5 for these nice hard-working people.
I always forget to take pictures of food in restaurants. So I can't share one.
If you are visiting Minneapolis and looking for some halal Indian food, this is the place to visit. I had Kachuri chat for the first time and it was really good. The butter chicken had a unique taste to it and the naan was fresh from the oven.
The only area that I would suggest needs improvement is that staff needs to be quick when it comes to collecting bill and answering any questions the customer may have because it took a while in my case.

Hubby and I went there for Diwali lunch. I have been wanting to try this place forever and sure enough it did not disappoint. I wanted to try the Thali but turns out they only have it on the weekends (their menu says Monday-Friday) We ended ordering the masala dosa and the plain dosa as well as the Kadai goat. Both dosas along woth the coconut, tomato chutneys and sambar were amazing just like how mom used to make. The Kadai goat was a little disappointing. To much tomato and the goat fat didn't taste like it was rendered enough. I packed it to go and will be adding some of my own masala and stew it longer at home. I definitely recommend this place and will be going back again. They have so much lovely south Indian dishes on their menu!
Tiny restaurant tucked away in one corner of a strip mall and bit cramped for space inside. It'd be easy to overlook this place but don't make that mistake, this place is really big on the tastes and smells and colors of southern India especially Kerala. You'll even find traces of it's old namesake Malabar.
We ordered and thoroughly enjoyed our Marsala Dosa (with coconut chutney, chilli paste and a light curry sauce) with plain Naan on the side. Tempted to lick the dishes when we were done!
Service is friendly, polite, accurate and attentive. The deco ie very spare and utilitarian but clean, well maintained and in good order. Highly recommend!
Love their food, kabobs are really wonderful. We tried biriani , nan and chicken curries those are truly have the Indian taste and flavor.Dine in arrangement are vey tiny, but if you have the best test then nothing matters. I will love to return again.
Was craving good Dosa for a bit. Found Kabob online and it was only walking distance from my location. Onion Masala Dosa was great as well as the chutneys served along. Highly recommend the food.
I had the Samosa Chaat delivered at work and it was delicious! Full of flavor and a large enough portion that I finished it for lunch the next day. Ordered it with the garlic naan, which was delivered still warm.
They have really good food! This place was right down the street from the hotel that I was staying in, so they're definitely in a convenient location. I wish their sign was a bit larger bc it's an Indian-style restaurant named Kabob, however when you drive up to the strip mall, there's another restaurant right next door whose name is "Indian Restaurant". So it's easy to get confused, especially if you're from out-of-town. It seems like the other restaurant purposefully did that to try to steal customers away from Kabob. Anyhow, they didn't have what I usually would order from an Indian restaurant which is the Chicken Korma, so I ordered the Chicken Curry instead, and it was delicious! I went back a second night after attempting to go to the other ( ACTUAL Indian Restaurant). But since there was no one in there ready to take my order, I went back to Kabob's and ordered Chicken Chili Curry, and that was good also. I would definitely recommend if you're looking for authentic Indian-style food! 😋👍🏾
always delicious and generous! I try to taste something new each time I go, but always have to have a mango lassi and one of the delicious biryanis. I do miss the thalis that used to be on the menu!
This is the only place we go to when visiting mall of America or coming back for vacation. Last time spinal was very helpful feels like an home. Goat chicken 65 dosa lamb and butter chicken all yu.
