We had a lovely experience and amazing food. We ordered Thai and sushi, and it was all very delicious! Our server was attentive and so sweet. I will definitely be coming back again!
Loved the food, simply good.
We ordered VEGETABLE GYOZA for appetizer, it was delicious so we ordered one more.
The waitress recommended PAD SEE EW which came out very delicious even with Thai Spicy.
This is a wonderful Asian restaurant in Blowing Rock, right off the highway. The grounds have all kinds of herbs and flowers. The building is very nice. Interior is beautiful.
We had lunch there. We tried Friday night dinner but the parking lot is very steep, very small and by 8pm, full.
The menu is Thai and sushi. The spring rolls, vegetarian, were crisp, not oily, and delicious.
My friend had tofu Drunken Noodles. It came with plenty of veggies, too.
I had the classic Pad Thai. I enjoyed the presentation and they served a large plate, but I found it much too sweet and not enough sauce. My preference is for a more moist dish. Plus it was mostly sticky noodles. They put a small pile of chopped nuts on the side, and served it with just one, tiny slice of lime. Not enough veges. This dish could be so much better.
For two people, about $55, so not a take out type place.
Great find when passing through the Appalachian mountains, good sushi and all around dishes. Kids loved the place and really enjoyed the drive to and from our hotel. No Picture but we saw a black bear a few block before arriving at The Moon.
Great food with a friendly staff. After a long day in the mountains and a hike, the food was the nourishment we needed on a cold night. Satisfied both meat eating and vegetarian segments of the family!!!
We had dinner here on our visit to mountain. Food was excellent, tasty and hot when served. Server was excellent and very attentive to our needs. If you like Thai food must visit this place.
Gorgeous place, fireplace, cozy and elegant. Amazing food and service. Had the crispy fish (Red Snapper) and local Blowing Rock beer. Great value and taste!
Came here for dinner while on a ski trip back in March. This place was so good we went back again the next day - it was the only place we ate out during our trip. Sushi rolls, curry, and thai tea were all amazing. I also tried hot sake for the first time which was very good. The atmosphere is just perfect and we got wonderful, fast service. Love this place so much!!
Food breakdown:
Thai tea - some of the best I've had
Krab rangoon - I love me some rangoon, and this hit the spot
Yolo roll - wish they gave me more mayo and eel sauce, but it was tasty
Blowing rock roll - I normally don't love fried rolls but this was really good
Green curry with chicken - big chunks but great flavor
Yellow curry - HEAVENLY. Might a road trip just to taste this yellow curry again.
Masaman curry - excellent according to friend who always orders it
Lo mein - delicious according to friend
Price is definitely worth it if you love good Thai food!!
Amazing food!! Loved the flavors! I got the pineapple fried rice - it was very good! Lots of options to choose from - and you can pick how spicy (or not spicy) you want it. Cool
Vibe as well. Very conveniently located off the Blue Ridge Parkway (steep hill to parking lot!)
Nice ambience. We were a family of 6 people. My brother in law and my friend enjoyed the sushi. While the rest of us enjoyed the other dishes. The food was fresh and flavourful. The mango and sticky rice was yummilicious!
Lively atmosphere with good foods. Had noodle soups - well balanced without not too much seasoning. Feeling special eating here - good for special occasions as well.
We had an incredible Christmas day lunch here! The sushi was amazing (we tried Volcano Roll, Friends with Benefits Roll, and Angry Tuna Roll) as were our entrees. Thank you to the staff for a friendly and delicious meal!
Great food! The parking lot is steep, so be prepared for a workout afterwards. The menu is large and there seems to be something for everyone. There are multiple vegetarian options, which is nice. Service was good and the food came quickly.
Finally gave this place a try. Food was really good. They have a very extensive menu. Some reviewers complain of items not being available but we didn’t have issues. The restaurant was crowded and we had to wait 5 minutes for a table but these days I think that is pretty good given labor shortages. We had summer rolls to start that were really good - sauce has a kick. I had green curry w tofu and veggies. The boss had pad Thai and the boy crushed some sushi. We got a dessert to go and the waitress added ice in the to go container to keep the ice cream (nice touch). They have portable credit card machines to pay at the table. Super easy. Good stuff. Definitely be back in person / take out. 😋
Great food, very flavorful, Thai food has complex flavors and real spicy option for those interested. Salmon carpaccio was my fave! Driveway can be a little tricky for tourists—better to go in daylight and back in your car.
