The food at Provisions is of the highest quality that I have ever eaten. Anthony and Emily, the owners, are two of the nicest people that you ever want to meet. Everything they make is to order and fresh using all of the freshest and finest ingredients. Their meats are unbelievable and coming from New York City, where Pastrami sandwiches and Rubens are king, I have not had a Pastrami sandwich as good as these guys make. Although they have a basic menu, they always have daily specials so it's good to check what they have. I am addicted to their Chili and when I go I usually pick up at least 3 orders so I can have it in the house. Their soups are also superb.
As if all this good food wasn't enough Emily and Anthony are dedicated to the community and have a Pay Forward system to help people who cannot afford a sandwich or a cup of coffee. They also are active in Woodstock helping people, mostly the kids in town, by tapping into the local resources at hand and hooking people up with anything from a ride to a clinic to an apartment. These people really care. I just cannot say enough nice things about these guys. It's a small place and you have to look for the tiny white sign on Tinker Street near where the Tinker Street Cafe used to be. If you have never been there go. If you already are one of their customers, I don't have to say anything else. You already know that Provisions is one of Woodstock's finest experiences.
We just enjoyed our first meal here. We sat at the very comfortable bar. Our order arrived quickly and the food was hot and delicious! Four draft beers on tap including two tasty IPA’s. Reasonable priced drinks and food. Highly recommended!
Provisions has some of the best sandwiches I've ever eaten. The food is high quality and has plenty for carnivores and vegetarians alike. Some of my favorites include: "That Horse You Rode On", "O'Henry", "Mac Attack" and "Rooster in the Henhouse." Tuesdays is pastrami day. It is fantastic on a Reuben panini. Anthony and Emily are wonderful people. They are friendly, helpful and care about the food they make and the people they serve.
Delicious hearty food, everything with a distinctive unique flavor — NOT generic food! A warm and inviting atmosphere to boot!
You're treated as family! The half order of nachos was a meal in itself. Drink prices that locals can afford. Go, you won't be disappointed.
Welcoming and super friendly staff, had a lovely conversation with one of the owners. The food was refreshingly delicious! Prepared with the purest ingredients which made each bite better then the last. A must if you find yourself in Woodstock�
Wonderful food! Wonderful people! It's the best egg sandwich I have ever had. I usually get one with bacon and one with sausage since I can't decide.
Just had the most delicious sandwich I have ever tasted- roasted pork belly with pickled jicama,all humanely raised meat hormone free.
So excited to have a gourmet deli with organic meat-they even have GF wraps; my new favorite place in woodstock

One of my favorite Woodstock neighbors! After eating many wonderful sandwiches, salads and soups I asked Provisions to cater an all day workshop I was hosting.The food was fabulous and as always Emily and Anthony are a treat to work with!
I LOVE this place! As if the humanely raised, delicious food weren't enough (and it's enough), Emily and Anthony are such good, fun, down to earth, friendly people.

The horseradish beet crema with wonderful roast beef on home made focaccia was divine. Go get one soon.
Hands down the best meatless breakfast sandwich I have had! Egg cheese arugula pickled onion siracha aioli and that homemade focaccia bread!

My coworkers and I try to get provisions as often as possible. The food is delicious and so fresh. Service is great, Allie & Emily are incredible. It should also be noted that Emily the owner has done incredible things for the community, absolutely selfless & locally owned can’t get much better.
STOP SEARCHING IMMEDIATELY! Provisions Takeout & Catering is all you are looking for and more! We had an absolutely phenomenal Christmas Eve meal catered by Emily and her amazing team. The quality of meat was incredible and the sides were outstanding. We had beef tenderloin, the single best shrimp with lemon aioli I have ever had the pro ledge of tasting, and mashed potatoes that would make your head spin. Carrots, haricot verts, and focaccia to make you a believer in a higher power and brownies for dessert! We also got a couple gorgeous quiches and scones for Christmas Day and they were gone by dinner that night! Hats off to this team who provided this family of 8 with the best meal ever! Thank you, Provisions team!
What wonderful food at this gold club restaurant with a great view including a stream running past just outside. The focaccia is homemade and so is their mozzarella. This place is known for their restaurants but all their food is delicious. If you aren't too hungry, stop in and hang out by the fully stocked bar.
Charming location, great service, and some of the best sandwiches my husband and I have ever had. He kept laughing at me because of the faces I made eating the homemade mozzarella. We were as impressed by details like the arugula and cole slaw as we were by mains like the meatloaf and chicken. Highly recommend.
Unreal delicious sandwiches…. On house made Focaccia bread.. absolutely recommend this place to anyone.. if it’s not directly on your way somewhere do yourself the favor and make a detour.
We came for lunch. Honestly this was the best sandwich I ever had. I had focaccia with mozzarella, garlic, balsamic vinegar and tomatoes. I can’t remember what the name of it was. My husband had the Annie Oakley. He had the fries-I had the slaw. We also had fried zucchini appetizer. It was a great lunch! I could only eat half my sandwich and the same for my husband. The view is beautiful we sat right next to the river inside. Looked like a really nice place to eat outside in nice weather. The waitress was extremely nice and very attentive. The bar looked cool but we sat in the restaurant. We actually walked there from Tinker Street and it was a quick walk. However, they do have plenty of parking. I highly recommend this restaurant!
We recently had the good fortune to eat here for lunch. Choices for lunch in Woodstock for sit down service are few or with limited items. Our party choose excellent grilled chicken salads that were so big that they took most of it home when they completed their lunch. I went for the pastrami panini that was high quality, decadent and quite a large portion. The service was very friendly, the views and ambience of the glassed in sunny atrium overlooking the golf course was comfortable but casual. The chef obviously is excellent and the lunch menu is quite extensive. Don’t pass Provisions resturant on Woodstock golf course by when looking for the best lunch in town.
Amazing owners and staff, have a free food board that folks can give to or take from freely. House butchered meat sandwich options and house baked treats, hubby and son give thumbs up. Great coffee. Only 4 stars because this veggie doesn't have any options here (besides coffee) But I'm complicated!
Best food hands down. Tuesday Pastrami is to die for. Quality Ingredients. Beyond friendly staff. Take out only but plenty of beautiful places in Woodstock to relax with fantastic sandwiches. Highly recommend!
Just had to write a review in response to the hootenanny review. This is not a sit down restaurant, it's a small, extremely special mom & pop sandwich shop. They do their own butchering, and make everything from scratch, even the bread (which is sinfully delicious, alas my belly shows evidence!). I have never thought about the music they play here because, well, you are basically just hearing it as you wait for your sandwich. Who the heck cares?? And those pickles they serve in quarter strips are home-made and some batches stop my in my tracks, they are so special and delicious. I've eaten many sandwiches in my life and I can honestly say these are some of the best I've had. This place is excellent and well worth a visit!
This site is my first choice site. Of all restaurants I know I favor it most. I never miss an opportunity to go to visit this restaurant. everytime I feel like having a delicious lunch, this place comes straightaway to my mind. very good and all kinds of food and a rich cuisine.trained staff members, and agreeable vibes. Also, the price is reasonable. I praise this place with no doubt.

Went for lunch, was fantastic. The building itself has a ton of personality (If not a bit run down?) but ALL of the food we got was outstanding. Was fairly priced and had a good beer menu.
Wonderful experience food was amazing staff was a pleasure to interact with can't wait to come back the atmosphere was amazing, everything was Ada accessible bathrooms were clean and sanitary
Omg I only wish I could give more stars I love to get lunches at provisions. It's a treat every time I go! The food is what I call the bomb diggity. I can never eat a whole sandwich it's always 2 meals for me and the leftovers taste out of this world! LOVE love!! the bead you can tell everything is very fresh! It's a ray of sunshine every time I go.
This was an unexpected pleasure in Woodstock. The food was outstanding. We would definitely highly recommend this to friends visiting the town even if it's outside of the "village proper" and doesn't quite have the feel of some of the other places closer to the center of town.

The staff is super friendly and the food is delicious! I only wish I could fit more in my tummy! Can't wait to go back and eat more buffalo cauliflower
