Besides being exceptionally clean, friendly and the food is delicious with very little wait time, we experienced the humanity of The Panera at Downtown Boise on Myrtle.
We are in Boise staying with our adult son who needs constant care. He lives in a large apartment complex where there’s a lot of elderly, disabled people who don’t drive, and many who seem lonely.
At the end of the day one of the employees asked if we would like any pastries for free. We said, “sure, we’ll give some to the residence at our sons apartment complex!” When she found out these treats could go to people in need, she then came back with 4 large bags of bread, muffins, sweets and bagels! You can see in the picture the employee went all out! The tenants not only seemed thrilled with the kindness of Panera, but some seemed genuinely happy to have someone knock on their door to have a little bit of human interaction!
I’m purposely leaving the name out of the employee, but they should get a pat on the back!
Thank you Panera on Myrtle! It was a generous donation, which touched quite a few people, many who can’t afford to splurge on an extra treat for themselves!
It’s unreal how we are treated at the Panera in downtown Boise!!!!! The staff Panera has hired truly represent Boise Kind. While working hard they share kindness when we enter, order, sit and enjoy the wonderful food/drinks, and leave. Panera has found the best of the best employees. We love our local Panera.
This was only my second time at Panera, my sister wanted there winter squash soup. They did not have it but they had a Thia chicken curry she enjoyed and I had a sandwich and mac and cheese. All were delicious
I have been here several times. The food is great, fast service and the staff is very pleasant. The restaurant is never overcrowded.
Good service and a clean location. We had an issue with our order which the staff quickly fixed. We were here on a Tuesday night and there were two other customers, so there were no service delays.
Generally good but the quantity of meat on the sandwich is highly variable. Even when the quantity is good I find myself wondering why I paid so much for just a sandwich and tiny bag of chips.
Finally Panera Bread has moved in downtown Boise! Very nice interior, food as always very very delicious, very fresh! Parking is a little bit odd but other than that it's all good. Happy it's so close to me now. 😊
