Food is very delicious! I tried the fufu with the spinach egusi stew and chicken 😋😋😋😋 don’t knock it until you try it!!
First time trying this and I got the motherland meal. I did spinach, jollof and goat. This food was sooooo good! Meat was seasoned well. Spinach is very spicy but flavorful. My husband was hesitant to try so he got portillos instead but when he tasted mine, he wishes he ordered the same. Also, he said the gentleman working there was very nice and made other suggestions for next time. We will definitely support and be back.
My son and I got the Ms. A’s special (jollof rice, spinach sauce, and chicken) with a side of fufu, and we were NOT disappointed!! Delicious!! I wanted to call and tell the chef “God bless your hands!!” The food was fantastic!! We were greeted by a woman who knew how to handle business (phone, kitchen, and register) and still smile! She was super helpful and didn’t miss a beat. I will be back to try more items on the menu.
I & My daughter love this restaurant, the motherland combo is so so good along with every dish I’ve had so far, this restaurant makes my heart happy. I highly recommend🥰♥️💯🔥
I had the Egusi stew with fufu and I most say it was absolutely delicious. Full of favor and spicy. My son and I couldn’t stop eating it. Yum! The service was pleasant, I can’t wait to go back and try other dishes. If you’re in the Bolingbrook area and looking for an explosion of favor in your taste buds this place is has it.
I absolutely LOVE Mukase! I travel far distance to this restaurant and it's definitely worth it. I've been a customer for a little over 2.5 years and they never disappoint!The Bolingbrook location has definitely cut my travel time down so the satisfaction is even greater. Great customer service always! My fave dish is Wakkye w/fish☺️
I live in the Southwest suburbs, but years ago, my family and I would travel an hour to buy food from Mukasse. When I found out there was a Mukasse in the Southwest suburbs earlier this year, I became elated! The food is absolutely amazing! Literally everything on the menu from the Jollof rice with goat meat to the okra stew. Hands down some of the best African food I've ever had!
I'm glad I ignored some of the reviews on here because I thought the food was absolutely delicious. I got the plantains and the Okra with beef and Fufu. This was my first time ever trying African food and I loved it! What I ordered was a little on the spicy side but it was worth the pain and I would order it again.
Every meal taste like it was cooked with Love. The spice level is hot just like we like it. The ordering process online or on the phone is smooth and easy. My food is always hot and ready for my family to enjoy.
This is the most excellent African restaurant. I encourage everyone to eat there. My favorite is the okra with the fish. I prefer my food extra spicy . So if you like spice or don't like spice this is an excellent restaurant .
My daughter suggested I try it after she raved about it. She had fufu and egusi with beef. I opted for the Motherland Combo with goat, spinach, plantains and white rice. The spinach was excellent! The plantains were carmelized to perfection and the best I’ve ever had anywhere. Everything was excellent. Service was timely, portions were enough for two meals. The food was flavorful and freshly prepared, still hot even after driving home. They also give a cash discount (there is a 3.99% charge on cards). I will most definitely dine here again to try more items on their menu!
Fantastic experience. The jollof rice and tilapia was excellent. The lady who took my order was so kind and very accommodating. I will be back soon….actually today 😁
