The restaurant is on the small side inside. The decor is a little tired but fits the location. The service was very good today with the waiter coming back often to check our food and if we were doing well with our choices.
First time visitor, but now will be one of their best customers!! All four of us loved our appetizers and meals. My tuna rock roll was one of the best sushi rolls I've ever had! My family all got the ramen and they said very authentic delicious broth. Great ramen! Highly recommend!!
My brother and I went for a nice Sunday lunch and this place did not disappoint! They were not very busy but the staff was friendly, fast, and observant. We never had to ask for anything, the waiter was quick to refill drink and bringing out utensils and food. I ordered the Pad Thai with chicken and I devoured the entire thing, it was delicious! I also tried their Virgin Mojito which tasted just as yummy. This is my favorite place, everything was perfect!!
Excellent service and great food. Seems like there are a lot of different options on the menu but we had curry and a stir fry and they were both very good.
Hands down the best Thai food experience I've had in southwest florida!! Sushi appetizer to start and traditional Thai Dishes for entree set in a beautiful atmosphere makes this the only go-to for Thai in the area.
Muni Thai - get an edge to eat Thai food - this is the place to go. I’m not a Sushi person however there is an area for this - look at pics. I favor the Sweet and sour chicken - see pic. Also pic is a peanut sauce dish with vegetables - you can add meat if you wish.
3.5 stars. Was digging Thai so we stopped here instead of having seafood. Restaurant was completely packed but we were able to sit outside.
Prices are $16-$25 and higher. So here's what we ordered:
1. Thai Spring Roll ($4.95). Crunchy but underwhelming. Two rolls diagonally cut. No garnish or flair. Skip.
2. Shrimp Tempura With Vegetables ($11.95). Perfectly done. Worth an order though a few extra pieces of vegetables would have been appreciated.
3. Lab Kai ($10.95). Disappointing. This was nothing like what we have had before in Thailand as well as at other restauarants. Not worth ordering.
4. Miso soup ($3.95). Meh. Wife did not like it. $1.95 to $2.50 for the single serve order would be more.appropriate.
5. Chicken Thai Fried Rice ($16.95). Not much veggies or color. Son liked it.
6. Pork Pad Thai ($16.95). No crushed peanuts or unique presentation. Other son liked it and said the flavors were good.
7. Vegetable Tempura ($16.95). Wife had no complaints and really enjoyed her entree.
8. Pork Pad Lah ($16.95). Good flavors. Not enough flat noodles though. Spicy too.
Overall with tip, dinner ran us $122. Prices are likely in line with the market, but there is much room for improvement. A little extra attention to presentation and some color would help. Or maybe it was just a busy evening so the kitchen team just didn't worry so much. While leaving, we all were thankful to have had another meal but felt Muji did not come close to some of our favorite Thai experiences.
For a cozier Thai restaurant experience in the Bonita area, this is a great choice. The parking area is a bit chaotic, but the food, service, and ambiance are all fantastic. In addition, you'll find some authentic offerings that nearby larger competitors simply don't have.
Muji Sushi Restaurant exceeded my expectations with their incredible ramen and super spicy roll. The ramen had a flavorful broth and perfectly cooked noodles, while the super spicy roll delivered a satisfying kick without overpowering the other flavors. The overall dining experience was delightful, with attentive service and a welcoming atmosphere. I highly recommend Muji Sushi Restaurant for a memorable and delicious meal.
Somewhat new to the area… decided to try Muji Thai after reading some of the reviews. The restaurant is not necessarily fancy, however, very clean and nicely decorated. We were greeted right away by a very friendly worker. Both of our meals were wonderful. I typically like spicy food and ordered my meal medium. Which was plenty spicy. I ordered the basil chicken and added shrimp. The chef came out and offered us several different sauces that we could try to adjust the spiciness. Everything was excellent and we will definitely be back.
