Very good Mexican fare and super quick service... We tried the chicken Tacos, Chicken Fajita, ACP Pollos Shrimp with rice and each dish was superbly crafted... For mexican dishes, the terminology can be very confusing but we had uber cool waitresses to help us out and suggest the best... And we hungry souls were treated to some delightfully delicious stuff... Definitely recommended...
*Authentic* fried taco house specialty (cilantro, onion, etc), good atmosphere, clean (they cook with gloves), very fresh & hot, fast, and the nicest, authentic, most genuine, kind, warm waitress I've came across anywhere in a LONG, long time. Highly recommended!

This place is a bit of a hidden gem. I enjoy the hole in the wall places with fantastic food and Taqueria fits the bill. I had the three taco plate with three different kinds, all of which were very good

I ordered chicken fajitas and my boyfriend had one of this combinations and they were more than happy to switch out the meat for chicken.
We don't eat beef much so this was a major plus.
Food was delicious and we ended up with leftovers.
Interior is small but homey.
We will definitely go back again.

Was pretty good. Up in Boone on a ski trip. The other mexican was closed on new years so we settled for this. I will note the sauce on the enchiladas was very hot, but it was also very good. It is pretty small, and the inside is not very nice, but good food and good prices.

This was our first time in Boone in about 11-12 years. We search restaurants in the area and when this one came up my husband said let’s try the Mexican restaurant. When we pulled into the parking lot my husband was a little leery but our service, food and everything about our dining experience couldn’t have been better. It is on the top of the list for the best Mexican food we have ever had. Would highly recommend!!!

Small Mexican place which was close to our hotel. Food was plentiful, well priced, and very flavorful.
The food was delicious! They had a lot on the menu to choose from. However if your kiddos do not like Mexican food this is not the place to bring them. We enjoyed our meal and the pricing was good.
This place had the best chimichanga I've had since I left California almost 15 years ago! They were swamped and it took a while for our food to come out, but it was worth every minute of the wait. Everything was super fresh and flavorful! Would 100 percent go back to try some other things on the menu. My only complaint was the salsa they served with the chips was a little bland and could use some heat!
Just shy of a 5 but better than a 4! Great service, tasty food, no margaritas. The complimentary salsa was my nemesis as the meal was taken home after one bite 😂🤦♂️. Really nice gem in Boone
Taqueria El Paso is a perfect feel for a genuine Mexican cuisine, as someone who goes to Mexico every year it definitely felt like I was in Mexico. Food was great, salsa was spicy and traditional. You can’t go wrong eating here. Would definitely come again!
Quick service and friendly! For the amount of food served the pricing was very enjoyable. The burrito platter was stacked to say the least, very good. Sopes and huaraches were ordered….the sopes de carnitas(pork) were on point!! The cabeza(head/barbacoa) were good, a bit overly seasoned for our pallet, but Good! A huarache was ordered and this is where I was a bit “sad” 😂, it was small!! Huaraches are about a size 10 sole/shoe offering!! However, it was good!!! Since sopes and huaraches had no side, I ordered a side of beans and rice “a la Carte” style….yeah, they slapped two dinner sized plates, one of beans and the other of rice. Wow! Greatly appreciated for sure!! As an overall experience and food quality, 5 stars and highly recommended. Whenever we are to return to the Boone area, we will definitely return!
So delicious!! Carlos was our server and he was wonderful. Best horchata I’ve had, I don’t like it when it’s overpowered with cinnamon. I got the two tacos and had never tried the cow tongue and asked Carlos’a opinion and it was amazing and super tender. Growing up eating authentic Mexican food I was very pleased
Visiting Boone for a few days and wanted Mexican food. This place popped up on GPS and was just a mile from our hotel. It had a good rating so we decided to try it. When we got there we weren't real sure because it's just a little place on the side of the road but because of the ratings we decided to give it a try. So glad we did. Some of the best Mexican food we've ever had and very reasonably priced. The lady who waited on us was so patient and great with our 5 and 10-year-olds and the service was top quality. We all had something different and every dish was delicious. Picture is of the Burrito Hawaiano filled with chicken, pineapple, onion, tomato, and queso with grilled shrimp on top. It was absolutely delicious! We'll definitely be back here on our next trip.
