The food here is great and filling. It's the best Chinese food in Boone and the environment is nice. However, the service is lacking. For one thing, I always have to wait a long time to be given a table, even when I'm plainly standing in full view and it's obvious I need to be seated. Why we can't just sit ourselves I don't know. I get that they can be busy so this isn't really an issue, however the second problem I will address very much is.
They are aggressive about you giving them tips. Twice now, after paying my bill, which, by the way, is more expensive than it was in the recent past, and with less items available at the buffet, the servers have said to me loudly and in my face "No tip?" and coerced me into giving them more money after an already high bill. Keep in mind I am a student living in a pandemic price world, I have two jobs I have to drive to daily, which costs a lot in gas, and I have to ration every penny. I have never had tips demanded of me and without any attempt at being subtle. It's very rude and off putting. I won't be coming back here for a while. It's a shame since this place has great food.
When the fresh food came to buffet. It was delicious. Two ladies ran the whole floor. Drinks was always filled up. Empty Plates took off the table. They worked extremely fast and friendly. They got tip well!
Always have friendly staff, tables and buffet bar are always clean ( as are the rest rooms! ). Wide selection of food on the buffet and it's all delicious. Definitely a deal for the price.
Lovely place with variety of foods to taste.
Was here late just before they closed but they were willing to serve us and even offered to cook more rice for us.
Tasting their baby octopus 🦑🦑🦑🦑 was great.
We love going here. The food is tasty and most of the staff is very friendly. I wish they would change up the menu maybe once a week or so with a 'special of the week'...something different. Other places have steamed clams and pizza,crawdads, etc. Othrrwise, this is a great place to go for a family that loves different foods.
The buffet was amazing!! The place was clean and well maintained. I just wish they had more bathroom stalls and one more sink to avoid a line in the bathroom. Other than that, this place get two thumbs up.

Always tasty and fresh. One of our favorite places to eat we make a trip at least once a month. The coconut chicken is my absolute favorite 😋
It's a pretty standard china buffet. The price is cheap, there's a okay selection of foods, and the service is good. The quality of the food is mediocre but they keep it okay by only cooking small batches at a time. Honestly the quality is the same as others places in boone.
Always good fresh oysters and clams and baby octopus and fish I don't get to see their very often but when I do it's my place to go in Boone
Reasonably priced. $11.00 for buffet and a drink on Sunday afternoon. Typical selection for a Chinese buffet. All of it prepared well. Great service. Overall really good for the price point. Outside of building makes you think twice, could use some updating but inside is very well done.
Best food around.. staff is amazing and the food has so much flavor! If your coming for App State game this weekend what better place for the money to fill up before the game.. my husband and I love it!
I have been eating here all my life. It has gotten slightly more expensive than in the past, but it's still a decent price for an all you can eat buffet. During peak hours, it gets crowded, but not excessively so. The food is very good and there is a decent selection.
