To avoid the line, my friends and I decided to get take-out and eat it at the Christopher Columbus Waterfront Park on a very cold day. So, you should read this review knowing that we did not eat the food to its full potential (and I am also keeping this in mind as I rate the food).
The interior looked quite small, which is a common theme in the North End. There was a shelf at the entrance with all of the pick-up orders for you to grab and go.
I got the chicken & waffle sliders and banana bourbon French toast. The chicken could have been more moist on the inside, but the crunch on the outside was nice. The waffles and potato wedges were average. Overall, it still tasted good, especially drizzled with the syrup, but I probably would not order this again. I liked the banana bourbon French toast more. I got a generous container of the banana bourbon sauce, which I appreciated (and ultimately only used half of it). You could definitely taste the bourbon, but the sweetness from the bananas kept it in check. There were also banana slices in it. The French toast was soft and did not have much flavor on its own. The sauce paired well with the chicken & waffle sliders as well.

Every Google, newspaper, magazine, television, and local resident review of this place are spot-on accurate; this place is awesome. The wait staff, atmosphere, and (obviously) the food are worth traveling to no matter where you live. North Street Grille does their part to make Boston one of the best cities to visit.
We had a wonderful time eating at North Street Grille. I had the smoked salmon Benedict and my husband had the lobster omelette. Both were delicious! The service was awesome too, Christine was super friendly and attentive. Can’t wait to come back!
Everyone was so friendly and the food presentation, quality and taste was fabulous. Prices just right! Just a great neighborhood place to eat. Make reservation if you can or go early when they open to get in. We waited about 30 minutes but well worth it. Watermelon mojitos yummies. Rancheros were delicious omelet was huge and delicious and I saw the waffles and chicken that was huge and you must try the homemade banana bread which by the way you can buy and take home it was the most delicious and my daughter in law is a chef. Don't miss this gem in the north side! You won't regret one bite! We had to come back a second time
Before we left Boston. What a great place!
North Street Grille was so cozy!! I love how small it was and how kind everyone was. The food portions are huge and it’s so delicious! When I arrived there was a line, I waited 30 minutes but it was worth it! The banana bread is TOO GOOD!
Small place with close seating but amazing breakfast!
The French Toast and omelettes are both wonderful.
We went on a Monday morning and it was a full house.
Quick service and friendly staff.
If you go be prepared to wait, but the food is worth it! All the omelettes are large and will fill you up. Small, mom and pop atmosphere and the restaurant can only seat about 25-35 people at a time.
This place is amazing. Chef Julian, server Katty, and behind the bar, Andy all were warm and friendly. The food is amazing. I had the North End Benedict with a side of French Toast. The cream sauce for the French toast was 🤌.
I will definitely be returning to try out other dishes.
Hidden gem in the city. It's pretty inside, so be patient, and parking is tough but can be found down the street at the waterfront. Menu is eggcellent!! Had the corned beef hash omelet with home fries and toast while the wife had the lighter side with Avacado toast and fruit. Definitely on my top 10 list for breakfast stops.
Ordered the banana bourbon waffle, bacon & banana bread French toast. Everything was good. My only issue was toooo much syrup/banana on the waffle. It was still good, just a little too sweet for me. I would definitely go back.
