Very pricey. Clean restrooms. Lines can be long. They have only one self ordering screen. Lots of fresh pastries. No parking lot or street parking. Extremely hard to find a metered street spot. More like impossible to find a street metered spot. They have outdoor seating.

Walked here on our way to do the Freedom Trail. It was extremely crowded and it may always be like this. We did find 4 stools but I wish they had more seating available as it’s rather small. However, the lattes, bakery items and breakfast were really good. I loved and recommend the Avocado toast. And it was a great place to enjoy a cup of coffee or a latte before getting our day started.
Flour Bakery in Boston has become my go-to spot whenever I'm in the city, and their brunch menu is one of the best in town. This time, I tried the shrimp caesar salad and roast beef sandwich. The salad was a good combination of crisp romaine lettuce, tender shrimp, and a flavorful dressing that hit all the right notes. The roast beef sandwich was a savory treat. I usually get the sticky bun for dessert, but this time I tried the Boston cream pie, and it was very moist and super good! I also got to see Joanne Chang (owner of the bakery) working in the kitchen and interacting with guests this time! Overall great experience
The space is rly cute and there is a pretty good amount of seating available inside and out. Drinks are yummy. There is a table with lots of different sweeteners and milk options to customize your drink to your liking. The food is light but surprisingly filling. Highly recommend the sugar brioche bun as a pastry.
Most notable feature is the super accessible bathroom that has a relatively wide door and handle bars (and a changing room!).
This place is a wonderful spot for picking up breakfast and lunch. Highly recommend their avocado toast, breakfast sandwich, Greek salad, and any of the sandwiches. The new miso tofu bowl is a great addition.
They have quality hot and iced tea. I have ordered many a cake from the place for birthdays, etc. and everyone loves them. Their cookies and pastries are very indulgent - the sticky rolls are well known around these parts.
My only tiny issue is that if you try to go during peak times at breakfast or dinner the place is too small for the crowds and you practically trip over a stroller or two trying to pick up your order. So, it's not really a peaceful place to dine in, but there are plenty of places to sit outside nearby by the water instead if you do take out.
They have an online app for ordering and actually text you when it's ready unlike some other places.
Amazing brunch place! Very lucky to have them in the neighborhood. The pastry is freshly made and just look appetizing. The menu items are also fresh and inviting. Good value for the price. The tikka masala naan wasn’t that spicy, but it was tomatoey. Needed a bit more intensity, but overall quite good. The brioche au chocolate was just what I wanted. Great texture and perfectly not too sweet.
Place is good. Got the lemon coconut muffin and the ham and cheese croissant. Yummmm. Would def come here again for the bakery. But the matcha latte was very watered down. Not worth
Amazing location of this bakery and cafe. The sticky buns are great, the grilled cheese is delicious with their bread. The drinks and coffee are on point.
What a treat to find this place with really nice breakfast options and friendly staff. Staying away from the overpriced and disappointing hotel breakfast, this is your go-to spot! And not just for breakfast obviously.
Nice place with high quality desserts. I got 3 cake slices (all $6 each), a double chocolate cookie ($3) and a raspberry crumb bar ($4).
My favorite cake was a toss up between the carrot cake or coconut cream pie.
The carrot cake was heavy which is what I prefer and the cake itself was nice n sweet, along with the great frosting.
The coconut cream pie had a unique, tropical flavor that I haven’t tasted before. It was very good.
Now the Boston crème pie slice was okay. It was airy, but didn’t have much flavor. The top chocolate layer wasn’t anything special.
The double chocolate cookie was bomb. Not very big, but had a nice rich flavor with plenty of chocolate chunks.
Unfortunately, the raspberry crumb bar is overpriced. It does have a pleasant buttery crumb topping and uses real raspberries, but it’s tiny and at $4, not worth
