Brought my mom here for my birthday. We had a group of 6 for Sunday brunch and they fit us in without a reservation. Great service and food. My husband has celiacs and was thrilled at the gluten free options. The drinks were amazing. The clam chowder was the best! Laura, our server was amazing! Cinnamon Toast Crunch drink was amazing.
Ate lunch at BPH today. Immediately seated in a nice window booth, our server Paige was attentive and delightful, and the food we had was great. We started with the chips and onion dip (ate them before thinking of a photo), my Wife had oysters and we split a delicious stuffed cod. Atmosphere, service and food were all pleasing.
A very beautiful place for brunch! All the food look great but I got traditional eggs Benedict And Bloody Mary! This lifted my spirit after a long flight and a very welcoming place as my first stop in Boston!
Too awesome to put into words. Great atmosphere, very welcoming and comfortable. Awesome service, Addison was absolutely perfect. The food was delicious and portions were generous. For starters, we had chips with homemade onion dip and then the avocado toast. For our entrees, we had fish and chips and the apple glazed pork chop. So good!!! I highly recommend this establishment!
Only came in passing through a cruise, so i might be biased, but it's a really nice, upbeat place. The drink menu is diverse and playful; drinks are pretty strong. I really enjoyed the food and the fact that there's loads of plates you could share and just pick at. We did not get the make your own bloody mary option, but it looked incredibly fun. This is truly the spot for brunch. Great location makes for easy meet-ups between big groups.
I had brunch here with my friend. The wings are tasty. I love my pancake too! The portion is so large that I cannot really finish. The restaurant is quite spacious and has great and quick service.
This place was packed on a Friday night. Very good atmosphere and food. We got the tuna poke, and miso salmon dish. Everything was fresh and tasted great. Great location right downtown as well. I would definitely come back
Excellent lunch spot. Had the clam chowder and cold lobster roll. Service was a little slow and claim chowder was small portion but otherwise this is a great restaurant. Very fresh food!
So the chips and homemade onion dip was amazing. Was not expecting that, so it started off great and only got better. My gf ordered the tuna and I ordered the duck. I've had duck many places and it's one of my favorite dishes. I have to say this was the best duck I've ever had. It was cooked perfectly, which is not easy to do. I would literally go back here just for that. We stayed for dessert, orders strawberry cheesecake and stores bites. After a pretty long wait they brought just the cheesecake and said they ran out of the smores, shortly after the manager brought over the smores plate and explained they ran out of the marshmallow to toast on top but gave us the dish without ,free of charge. All around great place and really good food. Forgot to mention the drinks were excellent too little pricey but very good. Definitely stop in if you are visiting 😊
So this was our last dinner in Boston. We wanted to try fish & chips since we never had it before. We shared the fish & chips and the southwestern salad. The cod fish and chips was beyond our expectations. The batter on the fish delicate and flavorful. The homemade tartar sauce was paired perfectly with the fish. The fries were cooked perfectly. The salad was awesomely delicious. The homemade balsamic was also delicious. We had 2 alcoholic drinks. A espresso martini and a sluice juice draft beer. Both were very good. Miah was our waitress. Impeccable service and she was very attentive. Ask for her. This wa our favorite meal after several days here in Boston.
Big restaurant with bar, great atmosphere in centre of Boston.
This is a bar so they may check your ID.
Nice decoration, they have both inside and outside area for drink and dine-in.
Price is reasonable and staff is friendly.
Food: the pasta was cooked nicely, good seasoning. Nice presentation.
However, we was very disappointed with the lobster roll. The lobster was dry but the roll is too fat with butter or sauce from the lobster.
The tater tot poutine is a must-have. Absolutely delicious gravy and a great comfort dish overall. My seared scallops entree was also cooked to perfection, with each bite being extremely tender to the point that those “melt-in-your-mouth” descriptions wouldn’t be far from the truth. Loved the food here, and they were playing great music to top it off
The food was incredible. So many things to choose from. If you're a foodie, I HIGHLY recommend you visiting this spot. Bloody Marys were fun to stack up.
Great place for a weekend brunch. We made a reservation but wouldn't have needed to. However, it was busy by the time we left after 1030. Service was a little slow but no real complaints there. We did have to ask another person for our check as our original waitress failed to notice our empty glasses, head nods, etc. and then seemingly went on break.
The bloody mary bar was spectacular - see photos. Pancakes were amazing as was the lobster roll that my hubby got. Overall, good experience.
The clam chowder is probably the best I have had. The lobster mac and cheese, it was surprisingly light, the lobster was not over cooked. The portion was very generous.
The clam carbornara also very well done with good clams, portion was also generous.
So didn't have room for dessert.
We ordered a blueberry lemon drop cocktail. Nicely done.
The maitre'd was on the ball the had the courtesy to offer us some water when he realised we had been waiting a little too long for the waitress. But that is good service.
It was recommended on Trip Advisor and it does deserve a 5 star all round.
Food, drinks and atmosphere were all great. Amazing location. Had upstairs seating with nice street view. Went for brunch, although only “critique” is I wished that the service could have faster.
Met a friend here for an extended dinner and it was fabulous. The atmosphere is great, modern rustic pub chic amd bit on the upsacale side. The wine list is good, and the bartenders were great. I had the bolognaise and it was also fabulous, on the smokier side with sausage it is made with. Overall the prices were as advertised and was what I was looking for.
The homemade onion dip with homemade potato chips, avocado toast appetizers...I can not explain that my mouth now tasted heaven! Our fish and chips were out of this world! My daughters Bourban and apple glazed pork chop was awesome! All around we will tell everyone we know that visits Boston to definetly eat here!!
