My brother and his family brought me there for a birthday celebration. I had veal Saltimbocca. It was excellent. I had enough for leftovers the next day and enjoyed it again. I substituted a salad in place of the pasta. which was also very good. At the end of our meal, the waitress brought me a cupcake with a candle and sang happy birthday. We hadn't mentioned it was my birthday, but she figured it out. My sister in law had made reservations a week in advance since it is tourist season. There was a long line before we went in, and also when we got out there was still a long line. I'm glad we had reservations. The prices are reasonable for the North End. In the past few years I had been to two other North End restaurants which were pricier and gave you less food. This is a gem.
“Little Al” made some great recommendations. From my wine to entree it was spot on. The food came out fast, portion was huge and was amazing!
Went there to celebrate my dad’s birthday and it was excellent! They even accommodated my gluten sensitivity perfectly. Very large portion sizes and food was excellent!

Incredible dinner!! Highly recommend to anyone wanting the best in both atmosphere and Italian food.
With 3 kids, this is our "go to" place in the neighborhood. Great food, huge portions ( we always have leftovers), and warm friendly service. Especially good for families.
One of the most delicious meals I've had and l had three meals from my portion. Nicest staff and I can't wait to come back
I’ve sat up and downstairs, and the ambience in both spots are great. No matter what you have the food is amazing, and the wait staff is very friendly!
Excellent food, excellent service! Will be back next time we get to Boston, really want to try that monster rum drink.
Food was delicious and plentiful, they definitely give you enough for leftovers. The space is cozy but we got in fairly quick for a Friday night and had a really enjoyable time. Will be back again someday.
There was not a long wait. Delicious food! Good service. The waitress even noticed the table wasn't level. The next thing we know a young man was fixing it. Paying attention to details is important. We will return.
Had the BEST experience here a month ago. Every dish that we ordered was some of the best Italian food I’ve ever had. Our waiter was the best and it’s such a nice calm atmosphere. We had the best time, the best food, and got so full on amazing appetizers we could barely touch our main 😅 the watermelon feta salad was a special but quite literally the best dish I’ve ever eaten. Highly recommend the lasagna with bolognese or the gnocchi in pink sauce (I can’t remember the name but it was someone’s special or favorite on the menu…mikes? Idk lol) this tiramisu was the BEST I’ve ever had. Strongly recommend ordering.
AMAZING pizza and great salads! We went here recently for the first time and will definitely be going back. We enjoyed the tomato and mozzarella salad as well as the salad with bleu cheese and walnuts. Very generous portion size on the bleu cheese salad.
For pizza, we got a pepperoni pizza and a meatball pizza with some type of cheese. The pepperoni was delicious, but the meatball was truly excellent. That one was the better of the two.
This is a very busy, popular Italian Ristorante. The place is alive with action, the vocal volume can get way up there.
Customers are well dressed and affluent. Our service was handled by a solid team of Lead, Assist and Busser. It was attentive, informative but most of all unobtrusive. Except when explaining the menu and specials then it was full blown Italian demonstrative!!
The Food was classic, with delicious sauces and pasta.
The portions were large and sides served separately.
I enjoyed every minute and our guests had a great evening.
Thank you, a place I suggest you make reservations in order not to be seated for a while.
La Famiglia Giorgio’s Italian Restaurant located at 112 Salem St, Boston, MA 02113 is a great Italian Restaurant in Boston. Very welcoming and friendly staff/servers who try really hard to make it a great meal experience. The food is superb! Tomato Sauce that is so delicious - freshly made. And they are extremely generous with the sauce. I got the chicken Parm which was 2 huge pieces of breaded chicken covered by cheese and sauce. Comes with Pasta. Their Pizza is also great!
This wasn’t my first time here, nor will be my last. I flew in today and this was my Dinner in Boston.
LFG has an amazing homey atmosphere that feels welcoming and warm. The staff are friendly and the food is unbeatable for the flavor, price, and quantity. Seriously, you will struggle to eat a full plate of the Chicken Parm or Lil-Al's Favorite, but the food tastes so good that it is almost impossible to stop eating at the same time. (Highly recommend anything with their gnocchi).
Good Italian restaurant with decent food and big portions.
Be wary of reservations as they won't accept your party unless everyone is present and there's only a ten minute grace period if people are late. Fortunately, they were able to take us in a bit later due to some folks showing up late in our party of 7.
Wow we loved this place wow! Amazing service and amazing food. The haddock margarita was perfect and went well the the fresh fettuccini. My wife got the tri-colored tortellini with grilled calamari and what a great tasting dish. The Caesar side salad was the best I have ever had with leaves so tender and delicious. We will always eat here when we are in Boston. It was very very good. Thank you to all who work here for a great evening.
Everyone thought that their food was amazing. I had the lasagna, and it just melted in my mouth like butter. Delicious! Very good service, atmosphere, and the prices were very reasonable for the quality and quanity of food provided.excellent coffee and espresso too.I may have to come back after running a marathon to make an attempt at there 6 pound lasagna challange.
TL;DR: We were able to just walk in without a reservation. We were promptly seated, informed of the specials, and our waiter confidently answered all of our questions. The environment is like having Italy in your backyard. I had the chicken Alfredo and broccoli with hand rolled rigatoni, and it was incredible. I honestly said "I'd be willing to become a made man for food like this". If you happen to be in the area and are considering La Famiglia Giorgio's, trust me this is the place to eat.
Great Food & Atmosphere, sat on the second floor and extremely Rustic & Homey. Waiters are polite and are fluent with Italian. Homestyle Italian food at its best!

This was an amazing dinner. Reasonable prices and great food. Atmosphere works for casual dress or dressy.
The portions are huge. I got the cheese lasagna w/meat sauce, and it was enough for 2 people easily.
Wonderful dinner! Their serving sizes are very generous. As a first generation Italian American who grew up with parents who made everything from scratch, their food was amazing. Great gluten-free options as well. I got the calamari with gf rigatoni. I swear it was 80% calamari. So delicious 😋
This place was great. Wife had the pesto Alfredo gnocchi and I had fettuccine Alfredo with chicken. Everything was delicious and portion sizes were huge!!! Staff was friendly as well.
