Delicious... !! We were a party of four. We were seated almost immediately. The waiter was an older Italian man who made recommendations and was very friendly and knew his job well. . We all picked something.different so we can try each other's dish. I had the pasta with seafood it was absoulotly delicious. The pasta was homemade and the fish was so fresh it tasted as if was caught that afternoon. My husband had the moms Quattro carne who couldn't not stop raving how delicious his food was with a comment with every bite that went into his mouth, it was 4 types of meats with a side of pasta. After he finished his food he cleaned his plate with a piece of fresh Italian bread which soaked up every last bit of his red sauce on his plate. I even made a comment they will not need to wash your dish. My friend had loster ravioli which was absoulotly amazing with a seafood sauce and with homemade ravioli stuffed with lobster..yum!! And her husband had the baked ziti. All was delicious....!! Defiantly a MUST to come back to next time we are in Boston.
Love this restaurant! We ate here twice and highly recommend asking for Tino as your server. He's wonderful! Order the shrimp appetizer. The lemoncello sauce is to die for! Loved the mushroom ravioli with black truffle sauce! The food is hearty and leaves you wanting to come back, which is why we returned on our last night. Hope to come back soon!
The food was amazing and our server, Mike was the best server we have ever had anywhere! Highly recommend!
The food we had was excellent! Loved the zucchini flower appetizer and chicken parm! The four meat ragu platter had GREAT presentation and off the chart flavor! The atmosphere was relaxing and the waiters were friendly and attentive. We will definitely be back!!!
Amazing restaurant. Every dish was delish! I went here back in March when I was at a conference... and I was invited back after the MarTech Conference... great lasagne... one of the world's best that I've ever tasted. And the tiramisu was also top notch. But the people that I went there with, were even cooler! :-)
Superb! We had both salads - the Bibb with pear and candied pecans and lemon vinigarette and the Ceasar salad and both were divine. My mom ordered a seafood plate which was yummy, long fat tubular pasta. the sauce is amazing. Will be back!!

It would be nice if the broccoli flowers had a vegetarian option. As for my meal, best lobster ravioli I've ever had.
The best Italian food you’ll find always visit when in Boston never had a bad dish. The lasagna is fantastic as well as Chilean sea bass

Everything was outstanding! If you are in Boston looking for an amazing Italian meal; Visit this restaurant. I was in a party of seven and most of us ordered different dishes, so I had a sampling of many different items on the menu and each one was delicious!
The best Italian food in North End ,great selection of wine and good service!!!!
Best restaurant in the North End. Greeters are inviting. Wait staff are all friendly and want you to relax and enjoy the food and atmosphere. Food is fugetaboutit great! This is the place I can't wait to back to!
The food is very good, especially the truffle ravioli, if you go here I highly recommend you get it, if not for yourself then for the table. The portions are OK, maybe on the smaller side, but they offer fresh bread that you can use to soak up any pasta sauce. Our server and service in general was great, nice and attentive. Atmosphere was great, clean bathrooms. I had a great dining experience and would highly recommend to anyone looking for good pasta in the north end.
Went to Italy in April, I couldn’t tell the difference in cuisine. This place is authentic dining, would highly recommend to anyone. Great selections of wines and pasta, and in a great local area. MUST TRY IN BOSTON!!
I’ve been here dozens of times for lunch and dinner. This is my go to spot on the North End. I have visited almost every restaurant on the strip and in my opinion this is by far the best place to get an authentic Italian meal. For an appetizer I always get the mussels and I’ve had just about every dish and I think every dish is good however the spaghetti carbonara is always my top choice here. I have referred several friends and family members here and I’ve always received good feed back from everyone. Highly recommend to everyone and anyone!
We came here for dinner on Saturday - you must make a reservation if you want to come here on a weekend. The food was good but nothing that wow-ed me. It was solid and comforting, but nothing stood out. The restaurant itself is cute, and the staff is wonderful. The biggest downside was that despite having a reservation, we still had to wait almost 20 minutes for our table to be ready, and the restaurant has no space for guests to wait which leads to some pushing and general chaos near the front door.
One of the best restaurants in the North End. Service is quick and food is consistently amazing. The cheese tortellini with prosciutto and the seafood pasta were perfect. The pistachio martini was also great. Would definitely recommend for a date night or group dinner.
Our family had dinner the night before Thanksgiving. Our waiter was attentive and took care of our large group. Everyone was happy with their food choices. The atmosphere is always upbeat and electric. The cocktails were just right and came out quickly. The meatballs were delicious, the eggplant parm was just right, the spaghetti carbonara was delicious and the calamari fritti perfect. What more can you hope for?
We sat in a very good table by the window. The street is noisy but despite that you feel like you are in Europe. The bread is not the best. I ordered an eggplant with tomato sauce. It was more than enough for one person.
The lobster ravioli, calamari, and espresso Martin are a must! The atmosphere is so amazing that I'm pretty it makes the food taste even better, lol! I will definitely be going back!
The best pasta I’ve ever had !! The tortellini cream sauce with ham was out of this world ! Soooo cheeesy! Our server was not attentive at all didn’t even ask how our food was. Other than the poor service from the server the food was 10/10 and super fast bring the food out!
I have been here twice now for dinner and had very good experiences both times. Most recently I went to dinner on Friday with an 8:45 reservation and the restaurant was very busy still with several groups of people looking for a table still. We were able to be seated after waiting about 15 minutes after checking in. The restaurant is on Hanover St which is the main street through the north end so everything is very busy around here, but this is definitely a popular spot and for good reason.
I ordered Mom's Quattro Carni Ragu and liked the dish. It had 4 meats served over some penne - a meatball, sausage, braised pork short rib, and lamb. The sauce was a Ragu sauce but it was a bit more tomato-y than I had expected and would have preferred but it was still good. At our table we also ordered the Spaghetti Carbonara, and Chicken Parm and they were also very good.
This restaurant is quite large and seems like they can hold a lot of people. There is an upstairs and downstairs with a lot of tables, but it seems like you still need a reservation if you want dinner here on a Friday or Saturday. There is a very large bar at the front that was pretty crowded. I am glad we were not seated next to the bar because it was loud and people seemed to be standing right next to the tables that people were eating at - I would recommend asking for a table that is not on the bar side if you can.

It was 85° out tonight and we decided a few days before to make a reservation to come for an early dinner here.
It was packed. Like sardine packed. Probably because of the nice weather.
We got the house special antipasto, which was extremely flavorful and nice and cold. We also got the gnocchi and the Ragu that has the four different meats. I can't remember the name. Mom some thing.
With two beers, one glass of wine, and the food, the bill was $85 before tip. In this day and age? Perfectly reasonable. The ambience was great as well. And our waitress was super attentive. We will definitely try again.
Was recommended by a colleague, vibe was on point and intimate. Service was average at best and the food was okay, I'm sure there is better Italian in the area. Overall a decent spot but shouldn't be the "must have" on your list in the North End of Boston.
Loved the Food and the Wine . Pasta was great ! Very Popular restaurant at North End . Need to book in advance. Nice Ambience but very noisy due to large crowds !
I was hesitant about this place given that sometimes restaurants with tons of reviews might not live up to the hype - BUT, Trattoria definitely lives up! It is so tasty, feels like you’re at home in a big, loud Italian household. The wine cellar seating is lovely and their wine selection is superb.
The standout item is really the 12-layer lasagna that takes them 3 days to actually put together and cook - the vodka sauce on it is divine. I’d come back just for that item.
We also got the squash blossoms and they were so crispy and yummy. The ragu was also tasty.
Overall a great experience!
Loved the idea of serving the pasta dishes in a stainless steel pan very unique! Pasta was delicious for us both. Ideal for anyone looking for mouthwatering delicious pasta 🤤
This place has such an amazing atmosphere. There’s beautiful basil plants right outside the door. The dining area is an indoor outdoor casual fine dining at its finest. The food was absolutely decadent. I will definitely return for the courteous service and magnificent food.
Great spot with a covered patio dining adjacent to the much smaller restaurant itself. The entrance is off the side street, not the Tremont St. address, just opposite the Pagliuca's entrance. We had the lobster ravioli and beef lasagna, after which you'll definitely. Need a coffee to stay awake. Scrumptious!
