Food is excellent, service is even better - friendly and prompt! Highly recommend for a good pub atmosphere!
The Onion soup is to die for. Just the right flavors and the cheese was delicious! My Cesar salad was also yummy, extra large size. Highly recommend this spot while in Boston. Everyone in our group loved what they got.
Steak tips to die for! The glaze on them was amazing and the place itself completely gorgeous!
Love this pub. Two floors and outside seating. World Cup supporter—lots is TVs and special events. Delicious clam chowder. Friendly bartenders.
Always a good place for a meal, staff is one of the good crew.
the best place to listen rock, drink a beer and have fun with ur firiends
I had a wonderfully delicious Ned burger or Ned’s burger. It was delish! ❤️❤️
Out door dining excellence! The service and atmosphere were incredible. If you can catch it on a sunny day, order the lobster roll and clam chowder. The manager convinced me that bread bowls cover up the soup, so he serves his in a porcelain bowl. It was good fun. The caprice sandwich is equally amazing. Everyone leaves happy!
Came here with my wife while visiting Quincy Market in Boston. We had the beer battered chicken tender appetizer, a shrimp caesar salad, the salmon dish, a beer and a mixed drink. We were seated immediately which was nice and there was some live music just outside. Our server was very friendly and attentively, and our food came out very quickly. Other than recommending less dressing on the caesar salad, everything was great! Would return!
Came from Chicago while my wife was shopping Quincy street market. This is a Good place to grab a drink and chill out. Came in for 10 minutes to just chill out. Place was clean and the bartender was cool. Plenty of seats no wait time. Would stop by again!
We had a wonderful Sunday morning brunch .The service was great. Drinks were mimosas and bloody Mary's..excellent. didn't feel touristy at all despite the address .The value was outstanding and the food was perfectly prepared. Eat here if you're in the area.
I had the best time here. We ordered fries and they came out within THIRTY seconds. And then we were casually discussing how good ranch would be with the fries and I guess someone heard us because ten seconds later the bartender appears out of nowhere with ranch. Incredible service 10/10.
My husband and I were visiting Boston for the day and found this place while walking around Quincy Market. We sat outside on their patio in the shade, which was so nice and enjoyable on a hot day. I ordered the lobster roll and he the fish and chips... our food was delicious! Our server was also very pleasant and attentive. Overall, it was a great experience!
Front hostess is super sweet and likes to converse which I love. I do wish she was our server cause the other waitress outside was alright. Didn’t check on us and not very conversational. It started to rain and we went outside and the waitress upstairs was very kind. 2 blonde ladies let us sit to watch the game and even one of the mangers came out to try to get game on projector. Great customer service and really recommend. Beer on tap is super good
The food came out quick, the atmosphere was calmer, and my daughter loved her fish and chips. They were well cooked and not too greasy. The food all around was good and our server was attentive. Would recommend, especially since it was only a few more dollars than the fish stalls downstairs, the food was almost as quick, and it tastes much better.
Ned Devine's exceeded our expectations with their Barbie Brunch, a fun and unique concept that the staff fully embraced. The patio seating, offering views of Quincy Market, was a delightful setting. Service was prompt, and the food was delicious—particularly noteworthy was the children's Mac and Cheese, which offered a surprising but enjoyable spicy twist. Our two-year-old was enchanted by the Barbie decorations, making it a hit for the whole family. If you find yourself in the North End of Boston, this family-friendly spot is well worth a visit.
For a restaurant located in the tourist trap area of Quincy market, the food and service were excellent. Our server (who was a manager at another location owned by this group that is on shut down during the quarantine), was excellent at checking in on us and making sure we had everything we needed. The employees followed all protocols, and we felt very comfortable dining out here. The pricing was reasonable, the setting was nice outside, and the tables were set far enough apart that everybody was comfortable.
Portions were generous, and the food was all very tasty, and the wait wasn't very long to get the food.
We don't generally eat at Quincy market now that Durgin Park is closed, but this is a place we'll come back to next time we are in the city.
Absolutely delicious food and great service!
Came here to try what I have read on many reviews surrounding the quintessential New England Clam Chowder and I will have to admit it does make you question all other clam chowders. Unlike the quick turn ingredients that come together to make this dish, Ned Devine's Clam Chowder claims true to the "Chowder" style as the taste is of something that balanced with a time influence to surround all pallets of your taste buds. I usually put hot sauce in my Clam Chowder and this version did not require. Each bite was balanced with proper portions of clams, potatoes, and heavy cream. Mixed and aged to the proper temperature, I would equate the satisfaction of this single dish to be that of a Thanksgiving dinner. What a lovely experience.
I loved the atmosphere of the upstairs dining. We were looking for a family style restaurant to meet with friends and their kids, and this was perfect. They gave us a great booth in the corner. The chowder and fish and chips were top notch!
Great menu and food! We love this place and usually stop for lunch when we are in the city. The service is a little slow and are food got cold while we waited for silverware but the atmosphere and food make up for it.
