Literally just left this place. I cannot believe how amazing of an experience it was. The food is to die for. We had the chicken wings to start, which might be the best thing I've ever eaten. Then had the steak and frittes for diner, very tender and flavorful. And bread pudding for dessert, which was, might I say orgasmic? Met the owner/chef who has the most positive energy and vibe. I loved everything about this place. I will absoluelty be going back!

Excellent brunch. The burger is one of the best and the Pho-ritto was outstanding. Friendly casual atmosphere. The chef is very friendly and greeted us personally. There is something on the menu for every taste. We booked a dinner on the spot.

Go for the buttermilk fried chicken wings. Stay for everything else they cook up. Always something new on the menu and it's all good. Lamb meatballs, party tots, Korean bbq tacos. And those are just the apps. Good vibe and friendly service with an outdoor patio in nice weather. Oh, and they've got the High Life on tap. Does it get any better?

Went here Tuesday night after a concert - incredible food! Had the chicken wings and short rib tacos, person I was with had the burger. Will definitely go on my list of places to eat when in Boston. Strongly suggest the wings, they melt in your mouth and have a great flavor.

I've eaten every single thing on the menu including somewhere in the vicinity to 60-70% of their various weekly specials. The food is the best in the city. I don't say that lightly. And, if you need a place to drink...it is pretty exceptional for that, as well.

Best staff and best chef! Chef Asia always makes you feel special and takes such pride in preparing her amazing food but also makes an experience out of it. The menu is so amazing you legit want one of everything. Also they serve super late which is a huge plus! One of my favorite spots in the city!

Among those we tried here this weekend this was our favorite restaurant in Boston. Everything was delicious. We had the beet dip, bacon wrapped stuffing and the veggie burger. The servers were great, in fact the hostess came over several times to ask how things were going. Atmosphere is warm , not too loud but good energy. I'd dim the lights more, but I like it really dark.

Sat at the bar. Had the best pseudo-Canadian bartender: a friendly and attentive maker of delicious cocktails. Delicious food, great atmosphere, and no one was an asshole. Highly recommended!!

Came for dinner with my partner. Chef Asia Mei & Ben were amazing; food was all delicious, loved how the restaurant was decorated with Asia’s art, & service was above & beyond. Would definitely brave the cold to visit again. Very accommodating!

Just AMAZING! Must stop spot if you live or are visiting Boston. The food is amazing, the staff is friendly and the chef is awesome (she personally delivered all the food to our table). I have only live in Boston a little under a year but this place hands down had the best food so far. Highly recommend the buttermilk wings and the Ron Swanson inspired quesadillas. Two of my faves. We will definitely be back.

This restaurant is incredible. The food is outstanding and the waitstaff is so friendly. They have a base menu and a rotating one and both are superb- I highly recommend getting their burger of the month! The chef brings her dishes out to you too which I thought was very cool.

Excellent neighborhood style restaurant. Unique and creative food selection with a nice atmosphere. Pleasantly surprised that the playlist included 80s and 90s which is not typical in South Boston! Beer selection very good and very well priced. Chef Asia Mei personally delivered a course of food herself and came back a second time to make sure everything was satisfactory. Not only is she a culinary artist, all the original art on the walls of the restaurant is created by her as well! We travel regularly into Boston as foodies and we will definitely return! Kudos.

Yum yum yum! It was hard to choose what to order because it all sounded so good… and it was. We tried the shishitos, patatas, Korean bbq tacos, buttermilk fried chicken wings, poke bowl, and party sprouts. The service was excellent and the owner/chef herself was very present and often bringing out food herself. I hope to return for brunch when I visit Boston again.

My wife and I went for date night to try something new. It took one meal for us to make this a monthly visit. The food is nothing short of amazing, and the peeps they got there are just as inviting. Chef Asia Mei suggested we come for brunch next time, and she screwed us. Now we don’t know if we come for Brunch or Dinner. Such a wonderful problem to have!

Hands down, the owner makes this place, she ran the food out to many tables herself and there's some really creative dishes on the menu that we'd love to return to try! The burgers (both the beef and veggie) were stellar and delicious, and the watermelon salad was refreshing and unique! Our only real critique was about the waitress we had tonight (08/30/2023, didn't catch her name but she was blonde) wasn't super friendly, didn't crack a single smile, or even look us in the eyes, she didn't go over the specials at all and honestly seemed more interested in getting our orders in so she could go back to cleaning tables which normally I don't think I would have commented on except that her vibe really didn't match Chef Asia, who seems so proud and content to be running plates and chatting up customers while sharing her food with everyone -the contrast between them was so different that at times it was hard to believe we were in the same place. Anyways, we'll be back soon but hopefully we get a different server next time!

Came in, because of the picture on the profile. I was looking for burgers under search and they showed a high rating. I look for 1,000 or more reviews and 4.5 or better. Google should specify or under hours. Food served limited hours. Came in between 3:30pm-4pm and had to wait at the bar until kitchen reopened. The chicken wings are a must try. They have their own aioli that comes with the wings. Nothing else needed. Due to the chef being creative. They do not have Mayonnaise. They have an aioli which they serve if you request Mayo or ranch. Was not pleased with that response. As I was not told they did not have Mayo. I was just brought the aioli. Not my type of flavoring, really ruined my meal. No mayo on a burger is a sin. The fries were over cooked and kind of burned. For the time I waited. Not sure it was worth it.

Great place to enjoy food and drinks in an understated and low-key vibe. Recently took a visit for dinner on a Friday night. Their menu featured an eclectic mix of Asian fusion and American bar food classics with interesting twists. The most interesting item from the appetizers was the caramelized onion-roasted beet dip: the combination of thin and salty crisps with sweet and savory beet dip was very satisfying. On the other hand, spicy lamb meatballs, jalapeno crab rangoons, and bacon wrapped stuffing bites were good but plain. Advertised as the "Boston's best fried chicken," their buttermilk fried chicken wings were fantastic. While they didn't have any unique seasonings, the wings were extremely tender. Craving for more, we also ordered the chicken and waffles and loved the waffles as well. Mama Mei’s famous dirty fried rice was another one of our favorites, and it was interesting to see that Chef Mei herself delivered this to our table. The only item we found plain from the entrées were their daily special fish & chips as the excess moisture on the inside ruined the overall texture of the cod. The food here was certainly beyond what we expected, and the service was also amazing throughout the evening. Would definitely come back for their wings.

LEGIT some of the most tastiest food here in Boston. I only made a dent in their menu with ordering these items, tots, rangoon's, cauliflower tacos, chicken wings, and chicken and waffles. Oh, and can't forget the desserts, butterscotch pudding and Oreo brownie. Service was spot on! Jessyca was an amazing server; she was very attentive and super nice. I have much respect for Chef Asia as she was serving food alongside her team and working the kitchen. I can't wait to go back and indulge in other menu items.

We really liked this place. Very friendly and inclusive vibe, flavorful food, and great service. It's not every day when you hear a customer say "chef, I love you!" (and mean it). The Best of Boston Buttermilk Fried Chicken Wings is literally the best in the area. Everything else that we tried was also delicious. Definitely will go back for more.

The Buttermilk Wings literally fall off the bone. Everything was delicious. The customer service is excellent. Chef Asia Mei is very personable. She brings out every order personally. I definitely recommend reservations because space is limited, and it's not very large. Great experience for our first time eating in Boston!

This place had great reviews so we took a chance on it and were super happy we did. The chicken wings were highly recommended and because they’re so delicious! We also had Korean and fish tacos which were both tasty with some spicy sauce in them. The Jell-O shots were also fun to take here! Overall, I’d come back for the wings and tacos. The environment was also laid back because it was not a huge establishment. It made the experience even better.

What an incredible first time in, went with a couple friends who have been in before. we sat at the bar with Seamus for a few drinks. Great beer selection, and they have a great mix of different cocktails. The drink Farm to Table is a great spin on a classic idea, and it literally tastes like the “grass” Bernie Bots jelly beans but is still enjoyable and fun to pair with dinner or snacks. The Summer Painkiller was our favorite, with a nice dash of fresh nutmeg, it really took the drink to the next level. We got (easily) tempted into dessert and I was served genuinely the best sorbet I have ever had a perfect balance between sweet and refreshing. The owner / chef dropped our dessert and immediately recognized our friends and was so excited to see them in. Seeing stuff like that really shows when an owner is putting their all into the restaurant, and it showed long before she came out to us. Overall great time, it’s easy to see why our friends love it so much. Definitely will be back when I’m in the area.

Wow what a great experience. Our hotel restaurant was closed so being out of town we asked for a good local place. Though no reservations they got us a table and the entire staff were super nice and very enthusiastic about the food. Great food with some nice twists. I had the pulled pork pancake scallion and the flavors and texture were awesome. Great fries (crispy and salty) and the sangria delicious. My family had a burger (which was cooked to perfection) and their soup hearty with a nice kick to it and even the grilled cheese had great touches. All in all we were full and very happy. I highly recommend and it’s a great place to just come have a drink with friends and family and relax. We can see why the place filled up quickly.

A nice little spot with a crafty fusion-style menu. We tried all the taco options and they all delivered, though the short rib was the best. Still need to explore more of the menu, but so far so good!
