My boyfriend and I had a great start to our night by stopping in to West End Johnnies Tuesday afternoon. We had plans to go to the Celtics game and always hear their commercials so we decided to give it a try. I made a reservation online just in case when we got there we looked like the first to sit in for dinner, so far some people were at the bar already. I almost felt silly making the reservation until about an hour later 5:30 the place was packed, very popular location. I really enjoyed their Pink Panther martini it was amazing. We both ordered soup and salad which was phenomenal as well, the Caesar salad was high quality they had home made dressing (can be hard to find) which was delicious. We ordered the macaroni and cheese, one with lobster one with bacon. Both dishes were perfect, the cheese in the dish was amazing!! The lobster chunks in the macaroni surprised me they were huge! We had to get desert seeing it pass by us, lemon creme brûlée and a hot fudge sundae. Those were very cheap and tasty as well. We just couldn’t have been happier with having a few drinks here before going out for the game. Great staff very friendly and laid back, yet 5 star service. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking to have amazing food and great drinks. I will be back next month!
I just recently had my holiday party here for my company and my staff and I truly had a wonderful time! Johnnie and his staff are super accommodating, very attentive to details, and know how to add that extra touch in customer service that make you feel at home and comfortable. The food was served hot, our waitress was excellent, and the drinks and menu are delicious. I highly recommend West End Johnnies if you are a business that wants to do a company outing or reception for your employees. They can accommodate both small and large groups in the upstairs and downstairs levels. My staff are still raving about the amazing time they had here. Thanks Johnnie for the good times and memories. We look forward to hanging out again soon buddy!

Sunday brunch is always such a happy place to be!
The food is excellent and the music is the best. Service is friendly and fun. Thank you, Johnnie!!!
Best brunch in Boston! Nothing beats live reggae music to kickstart your Sunday Funday! My wife and I absolutely love this place - great food and good vibes all around. Make sure you make a reservation at least a week in advance or come in after 12pm - first come, first serve for bar seating (my wife and I could always typically find 2 seats for both of us but extremely difficult with 4+ people)
WestEnd Johnnies has never disappointed and my wife and I still joke about coming back to Boston, just for reggae brunch :)
The Sunday brunch is fabulous and the entertainment is even better. Great place to relax and listen to some music.
My favorite place to go prior to a concert at TD Garden. Love the atmosphere and the food. The steak frites with parmesan truffle fries is my favorite! Very flavorful and delicious, it never disappoints.
Absolutely amazing reggae brunch on Easter Sunday! Food great, drinks menu great and totally awesome music! x
The best place to throw back and relax. The ambiance the food the music is amazing.
Just stopped in for a quick dinner before a show and loved it. Was quickly seated and served and the food was great and I thought pretty inexpensive for the area. Would recommend and I will definitely go back.
We had dinner here last night. Food was delicious, the service outstanding and great ambience. I highly recommend it. And a great location!

I came in before show and was warmly greeted
Got two comfortable seats at the bar and was waited on by a very attentive server
I would definitely stop in again and would like to try your brunch if you still have it on Sundays
Best night out! The food was excellent and well priced. Danced, drank and had the best service, even though the place was packed.
It was a fun Sunday afternoon, live reggae band, Bruins we're on the tube, food was great and the bartenders have skills! Highly recommend for a fun Sunday brunch with friends.
Another super dinner
The wait staff is excellent and Johnny is the best
Our favorite spot prior to a Celtics game
I had swordfish and my son steak tips
Both prepared to perfection
Go Johnny Go
Great staff, great owner and I don't know the name of yesterday's band,as I arrived late, but that girl could sing, highly recommend West End Johnnys
Best reggae brunch ever. Went for Easter brunch and made a reservation had a great time listening to reggae bands good food good drinks really good bloody marrys
This is the pick of the neighborhood if you’re heading to the Garden but looking to catch a beer, the game and still get a decent plate of food as part of your pre-show ritual.
The steak tips and the burger were solid choices.
Lots of pull-down projector TV screens hidden in the ceiling so there’s a good view of the game from almost any seat.
Staff is friendly and accommodating.
Food was amazing! Service was also great, they even had waiters that spoke Spanish!
Perfectly portioned and delicious appetizer! The reggae set was awesome as well. ❤️
We went for Sunday Reggae brunch and what a time we had. The band was off the chain and we enjoyed ourselves immensely. I had the burger, one if my friends had the French toast with ice cream. The had different flavors of mimosa and I had a drink called the pink panther which was fire. Overall this place made my trip to Mass. Above board.
Great Place. . Live entertainment plus good food can't go wrong for a beautiful Sunday early afternoon.
Our party had a great time before a concert at TD Garden. There are lots of decent spots in the area, and I've been to all the old school places over the years. I've also been to a few of the newer trendy ones. West End Jonnie's fits in perfectly and just might be my go to from now on. Attentive staff, great food and reasonable prices, this place in my opinion is a true representation of a real Boston bar, not quite a dive but not pretentious either. The owner made sure to come over and offer to take a picture for us unsolicited. Nice touch! The menu had all the real Boston choices with fish n chips, clam chowder and of course authentic New England steak tips amongst their varied yet uncomplicated choices. Definitely order the buffalo chicken dip as one of your apps... They had a good selection of bourbon and tequila, and while not a ton of beer on tap, my choice of Lunch tasted like it was tapped that day and they had Whirlpool which is brewed like a mile away. Also of note, it was a very clean restaurant. Give this place a try.
Best brunch spot in Boston. Great spot to watch games aswell or just to grab some food. Staff was nice and cool. Good vibes and good live music. Definitely a new favorite spot to go to. Try the Fluffernutter French Toast with Ice cream will not disappoint. Place can get really packed though sometimes and wait times can be crazy.
Stopped in to West End Johnnie's for dinner before seeing Cher at the garden. We were told a 30 minute wait and decided to wait. While we were waiting we ordered the meatball appetizer. We ate the meatballs on the couch while waiting for a table. There were a couple of other groups doing the same. It was fun, and we decided to order dinner on the couch as well due to time constraints. We ordered fish & chips, and braised short ribs. Delicious!!
Awesome place everyone was friendly from the hostess to the other guests... Rachel the bartender makes a delicious margarita and Santiago our server was excellent.... Plus the live reggae band Errol Strength and Conscious reggae band the Best!!!
West End Johnnie's is a whole vibe. I had the grilled pineapple chicken sammy and my wife had the crab cake sammy, both were Amazing! Service was solid. Atmosphere was great. Definitely want to try the reggae brunch!
My family and I had a great meal at Johnnie’s. Excellent food, my son had the chicken sandwich, my husband the portabella burger, and myself the steak tips. We all loooved our food! Would post a pic but we ate it all. Francisco was an excellent server, best I’ve had in a long time. 10/10 highly recommend!
Had the wings, they were great. The steak tip dinner was good, just wish mash potatoes had garlic or something added. They were a little plain. The drinks were good too. Overall,we liked it there.
