Definitely a great place to get your sushi craving satisfied. I ordered the salmon complete and the pink roll. All the fish tasted fresh and delicious and the prices are good. The staff are all super nice as well. The atmosphere was pretty basic, definitely going back for the food but not the vibes. The total cost after tip and tax was 58$ for two people.
Big fish portions! Would have preferred more sushi vinegar in the rice though. Will be back! Ordered sake don and a chirashi bowl.
I came here for a quick dinner before going back to Europe. The restaurant was empty and the service was ok. Food was not bad and arrived quickly
A budget restaurant with cute vibes and great sushi. Portions were sizeable! Location is great as well for a quick tour through Chinatown. I recommend parking at Greenway, it’s the closest and one of the cheapest place during the weekends. Perfect place to take your +1!
Stir fry udon with vegetables, excellent! Both the noodles and the vegetables were cooked to perfection and the sauce was delicious. I was told that the chicken wings were pretty good
Will return next year for sure.
Server was nice, and attentive. Great experience and atmosphere.
A pleasant surprise!! We arrived here because my son wanted to try the foods here. He said it had a very good rating. I was reluctant. The restaurant looked much like any random Asian restaurant nothing flashy. We decided to try the food and were very glad we did! The food was very well prepared and very delicious!!! The waitress was very nice and had us seated immediately. The orders were brought out within a short time. A small bowl of Miso Soup and a small salad were first. Everyone gets this as its standard. We had Pork Katsu, Chicken Katsu, Spicy Scallop Maki, Chicken And Ramen in Miso Soup, Fried Pork and Ramen in Spicy Soup, and assortment of Maki, Shumai, Gyoza,. All were very well made!! This place was I guess a diamond in the rough!!! Do not judge this book by its cover, and try it out!! You will be very glad!!! Update as of 10/9/2022 Irashai is as good as ever!!
They have the most authentic beef fried rice in Boston. I order it every time I visit Boston.
Great sushi place in Chinatown Boston! First time visit and was not disappointed! Great selection of both signature and traditional rolls! Would definitely recommend the Celtic Roll from their signature line (the green wrapped roll). Service was great and prices were comparable to most other sushi places. Very somber setting! A nice little escape from the street noise! A nice quiet place to enjoy some very good Japanese cuisine! Definitely would recommend!!
We went there for dinner on a Friday. The place is OK overall, nothing spectacular in any regard. The decor seemed a bit ordinary and not warm. The food was pretty good but not mind blowing. We were happy overall.
The most delicious food I had in all of Boston. Hands down, this food was mouth-watering and the vibe of the restaurant was so chill. Definitely worth the price. High quality food. Chicken soft enough I could eat comfortably with my braces. The curry knocked my socks off 🍛 the veges in the curry melted in my mouth & the rice was nice & fluffy. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. The eel avocado roll was full of refreshing flavor. The staff was friendly and very helpful. If you have a big group, try to get the corner table near the entrance, as it probably fits up to 15 people.
