Huge menu and staff are very friendly! Very affordable and food tastes good. We had tofu rolls, shrimp fry-love them, sweet and sour chicken(a bit too sweet for my liking). Overall, great experience and love their bakery too!
I've been here a couple of times, they offer free hot tea which is nice. Their menu is huge, many many options. The food comes out fast and hot. I enjoy the rice paper rolls with shrimp or beef and the pork in bean curd. The staff is helpful and patient with us even though there was a slight language barrier. Very affordable as well, 50 dollars fed my party of 3 very well and we had leftovers. There's also a bakery attached to the restaurant that has great Portuguese style egg tarts.
The place may seem like a small hole in the wall but serves some solid dim sum. The other side of the restaurant is their bakery sidec where you can buy some pastries. We only ordered a small selection of items as we wanted to get some other stuff afterward. The food came out slowly as they prepared them fresh to order. I definitely enjoyed my congee and the beef meatballs.
Crowded place but decent food. I absolutely love the egg tarts here but it cost $7 for 3 to eat it there and only $1.35 each if you buy from their bakery beside the restaurant. The shrimp dumpling was also great! We also ordered the bbq pork 肠粉 but the skin was way too thick to enjoy it well.
I’m from Hong Kong, and have lived in Boston for many years— guaranteed this is the best dimsum in the city! No carts but very authentic, delicious, cheap food! Expect a wait during peak hours, highly recommend getting the egg tarts
Solid dim sum choice in Boston Chinatown. Prices are a little above average for dim sum (can find cheaper elsewhere in town), but food is clean and restaurant is relatively clean too.
There is a limited variety of dim sum dishes to order, and I wish there were some other common items, but for the most part everything was good (though not exceptional).
The 油条 and congee are definitely must haves, the other items are good but I could do without. A good stop for the weekend regardless!
First time I came (early morning) I was blown away by the quality of the food, and the last few it (lunch time) has been just good. I think quality may be better while they’re busier in the mornings, so that might be something to think about! My favorite dishes are the molten egg yolk buns and the youtiao rice rolls (idk the official name sorry). Would definitely recommend come in the morning!
Came here for dinner one night and everything was fantastic. Cart-less Dim Sum so everything is made to order. 2 types of bottled beer, lagers.
Speaking as someone looking for great-tasting, healthy food without breaking the bank, this place is a gem. With a regular menu as great as their famous dim sum, and most dishes under $12, you’re gonna love this place.
Talk about a hole in the wall…all day dimsum. And delicious hot plates. Chow mein dishes are sooo good. The dimsum. Some of the best I’ve had 😜. Very fast service. Tight seating but they make it work. Be ready to ENJOY
DIM SUM ALL DAY!!!
Good food for a good price! Tasted pretty good and I was surprised to be able to eat dim sum for dinner. They also make decent cantonese food, so if you're looking for a satisfying canto meal, check this place out!
Not a five star because I think if you look a bit harder you can find a slightly better dim sum/cantonese food place. Nonetheless this place was yummy and I would definitely come back.
Reasonably priced— the portion sizes were bigger than I had anticipated but the Dim Sum and Xiao Long Bao (soup dumplings) were very good. I recommend getting the chicken feet and short ribs with taro (pai gu)
From the earlier reviews, I can only surmise that some things have changed. To start, the first thing we noticed was that although it is small and very full, they managed to keep it looking clean. Next, although all of the tables were taken when we arrived, we were seated within 3 minutes. The waitress was patient with our order and our food came out within ten minutes.
Our tea (which was lovely) was piping hot and was the perfect amount for two people. The portions were generous, and quite tasty. I would definitely recommend this place.
The dimsum here is really good. We really enjoyed the snow pea tips and the fried taro. It's a tight and small space so there's not much room to move, but they seem to have a lot of regulars. The servers were very friendly even though they couldn't speak or understand English too well. The food came out pretty much within 15 minutes of us ordering.
Seriously the best Dim Sum I've ever had! A wonderful little gem of a place with extremely good prices. I highly recommend the tempura nori wrapped crab, it's the perfect comfort food.
Food was amazing. Dumplings were flavorful but not too powerful in taste. The surloin with rice was the same. It was a modest flavor that exploded in your mouth. Tea that is included is refreshing and high quality. Pastries next door are also tasty and not too sweet.
Service was amazing the staff was extremely nice and friendly and gave us some free stuff!
Would recommend anyone in the area to go try them out!
