Not very far from my work place, we decided to go to a Mexican place and this was our choice. We went at peak hour, so it was kind of packed but there was some place to fit us. When we entered in a guy came to ask for how many people like almost every place, then he took us to our table, not too much waiting, maybe a couple of minutes. The place is nice, tables are made from wood and there are both benches and chairs. After we sat down, we got the menu very fast, and after taking a look at the drinks we order some Modelo tap beers, they weren't very strong but I liked them. As appetizers we ordered some nachos with guacamole and salsa, as having the combo was more expensive ( maybe the size was bigger ), but it was more than enough to try them. Both salsa and guacamole were good, dipping nachos inside them was perfect to wait for the main dish. we didn't know the difference between burrito and enchilada, so we asked the waiter for that and he kindly explained it to us. I ordered a beef enchilada, but my friend ordered a burrito. The size is pretty big, with rice, beans, cheese and lettuce as sidedish. Service was attentive, so before finishing our drinks they asked if we need something more.

Cute decor, cozy space, tucked in on a side street, good food, very friendly service. Signature margaritas were so tasty! Street tacos were good (pork a little dry). For me the mark of a good Mexican restaurant is the complimentary chips, salsa and Papgayo’s were excellent!

I haven't been back in a while, but I love the free chips and salsa. Plus they refill it. The serving sizes are huge and it's pretty standard, since the food was exactly like the Papagayo in Somerville. I always order the same thing. Sometimes it does take a while to get service. The bar area can get pretty loud sometimes too, so it all depends on when you go. The bathroom is actually a long walk and it has some creepy drawings outside.

Surprised by how much I enjoyed this place. Arrived around 5, not busy at all. Had a fun, energetic server who made the experience very pleasant. Shared a side of guac and 2 fish tacos between 2 people and it was perfect if you had a late lunch and need some light dinner. Pineapple cocktail was nice and refreshing. Fish taco was surprisingly good. Added some hot sauce for added kick. One gripe: chips are very fried, very crunchy and had visual oil residue. Really affected how much I enjoyed the salsa and guac. Would go back.

My friends & I were happy with our pre-theatre experience here. The drinks are made with fresh squeezed juice & infused tequila & were delicious! The guacamole, empanadas & street corn were equally good. The nachos were just ok; odd take on what we would normally consider nachos. Overall good dinner & drink experience. I would go back!

Good food, drinks, music and great service. Fell in love with decor...Dia de Los Muertos my fave. I ordered the small shrimp taco dinner with beer. Good stuff.

Really nice place! Atmosphere was perfect, the guacamole was fantastic and I liked the fact they gave you an option on the level of spicy. Service was outstanding very attentive drinks refilled without asking. The dessert was the only disappointing thing we ordered the s'more nachos which need massive improvement or to be removed from the menu. Really nice experience overall.

This location has two floors and is one of the few places with decent Mexican food in the area. Since it's large, the wait isn't too long. They also bring out chips after ordering so that's always nice. The chips are fresh and pretty good. I got the cauliflower tacos here and liked it but you can definitely feel the oil on the chips and entrees, but that's what I was in the mood for and enjoyed it.

Great specialty margaritas and the chicken tortilla soup is especially good. Adele was a fantastic server and easily accommodated our group as it expanded from 2 to 9 as the evening went on. It was my first time there and I certainly plan on returning!

Friendly and super fast — but perhaps too fast. The food came out within minutes of ordering, which was great but it was then cleared up super fast too. If you need a quick meal this is a GREAT option (tasty, well priced, friendly). Although we were not rushed out, if you want to spend hours at a restaurant, this may not fit the bill. Otherwise, worth trying!

I tried their food through the food truck they have on Drydock Ave on Wednesdays. I had the chicken soup, the chips and salsa, and the side salad. That chili lime vinaigrette they have is amazing. Really took the salad to another level. Chips and salsa were nice and fresh. Soup was good. However, the customer service is lacking. They also didn’t have soup cups for the soup.

I went here for lunch with some friends on a Wednesday. It was pretty empty, so we had most of the attention of our server, and our appetizers and food came out fairly quickly. We got the queso dip and the guacamole for appetizers, which were both delicious! The entrees were great too, with good portions for the price. I'll definitely be returning!

The queso was AMAZING. Didn’t feel too greasy and heavy, and just the perfect level of spice. I got chicken tacos; the flavor was great and the service was fast. Also, the homemade chips were delish! Definitely will return.
