Great bar, good mix of regulars, tourists and sports fans streaming from TD on game nights. Upstairs turns into a 20's aged club Thur-Sat after 10pm. The owners actually work bar or tend to front of house which is nice. Has a 23 oz $4 domestic beer which is the best in this neighborhood. Food is good; I'd recommend the Brisket Reuben with the Macaroni and Cheese. They have pulled pork, ribs, and brisket as well, I wouldn't compare it to NOLA or Texan spots but it is probably the best in Beantown. It is also 1 of 3 bars open until 2AM near the Garden.

First time at Causeway last night and it was great! I am a touch critic of nachos and they have the best one I have ever had! Not to mention is was very busy after the Celtics game but everyone working did their best to make sure they got everyone's orders. I will def be back!

Causeway is a staple for when my family and myself go to Boston. And this time when we came to town it was no different. Not only was the entire staff extremely polite but the food was great. My mother fell in love with the Blue moon box they had on the table that would hold condiments so we asked the owner how much to purchase the box.. he went down stairs and brought one up for my mother no charge. It made her so happy. It is something so small but it will be something she will talk about for this summer to come!

Combo Tres-brisket, ribs, and pulled pork was easily the most bbq i have ever gotten on one plate for 25 bucks. Sides were good too. Leftovers kept well the next day for breakfast and lunch
Food is really quite good. The coffee is solid! I had the breakfast sandwich, which was outstanding! The other plates being served to other patrons looked equally impressive. The service well lets just say was efficient, but I would not call it engaging or expressive As far as the atmosphere, well it's decor is old Boston bar, which is great if the servers had any kind of personality. I did day efficient, but it includes the conversation, not one extrA word. Lol
You want a not crowded bar with good beer and solid enough bites and good music it's very solid. Wings and broccoli were incredible. Everything else was ok.

I hosted an event upstairs before a Celtics game at TD Garden. It was a great atmosphere, decorated for the holidays, and the staff was wonderful. We had food stations set up and plenty of space for guests to mingle. Everyone had a great time!
Nice spot to grab some breakfast. They were out of French toast when I arrived so ended up having steak ends and eggs. Good food, nice staff, various screens with sport and news on.
Ravens Nation reps here harder than a lot of BMore bars. People are friendly and highly suggest.
For not expecting much late at nite our meal was awesome. We ordered the steak tip subs. The were tender and hot. So very good. The seasoned fries were great. Drinks were strong but just right. Went back for breakfast 2 days in a row. Hot fresh delicious. French toast was good and the lemon ricotta pancakes are highly recommended. The waffles and chicken were some of the best I've had. Highly recommend this place while in Boston.
Probably one of the best barbecue places I've tried in Boston. Being right in the sweet spot next to TD Garden (North Station) and State, it's the perfect place either for people to eat/drink at right before the game or eat/drink at during lunch time at work, or you just want to have dinner there! The food is absolutely delicious. For a group of 3-4, we had the "Spicy and Sweet Mustard Wings", the "Buffalo Shrimps" (I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS), and the baby back ribs platter (also highly recommended). A lot of barbecue places I've been to are either very heavy in bbq sauce or very very dry. The ribs here are very tender, smokey and filled with flavor.

2 excellent bartenders and 1 fantastic barback made an AMAZING evening. They were a well-oiled MACHINE. They were attentive and amazing! GREAT selection of beers on tap and FABULOUS shots.

The food was great. We got the brisket. We didn't know it would be so loud. We couldn't hear each other talk. The server was adequate.
We stopped for a quick appetizer before a concert. The food came out super fast. We chose the carne asada fries and it was enough for 2 people. Our server a good, too.
