I love this place. Best place in the Financial district to have lunch or a cocktail. The atmosphere is awesome. Dark rich wood, plenty of TVs to catch up on the Sox or Bruins. Very tasty food. Say hello to the owner Rich, he is very charming and knows the city well if you are traveling and have questions.
In Boston for business. Stayed at the downtown Hilton which is right across the street. Stumbled upon this bar one night and was happy I did. Brian is a great bartender and was very welcoming (Looks like Charlie Day and it made it even better, honestly.)
We have been there about 3 nights in a row and the staff has done a great job of making us feel at home, seeing as we were from Indiana. Maggie was another one of the great bartenders. I can't remember the other one's name, but you get the picture. Great staff and great bar. Will be coming back the next time I'm in Boston!
First time visit with a Gilt City voucher. Yet, we were given the most attentive service from the manager - Rick there in addition to a treat to celebrate my birthday. Rick made sure we had our own space away from the crowd, and checked-in multiple times before handing us off to other servers for the evening. Service, atmosphere, and appetizers were all amazing. Thanks Rick and we will sure be back!
Awesome food and drinks! Staff is super friendly and attentive. Great location. Owners are the best! If you're looking for a place to catch the game or just get some food and cocktails, this is the place to meet in the city!

We had a great time there last night. About 15 of us showed up after work to celebrate a retirement. The staff immediately put a bunch of tables together for us, and the manager was very personable. We had a great night.

As we slowly make the transition from winter to spring here in Boston, certain adjustments must be made. The winds are still freezing, and the snow makes the morning commutes absolutely crazy! To compensate, we may require more comforts and warmth than usual. This is where Batterypark Restaurant comes in. I've met here with friends a couple times, and I always go straight for the same amazing comfort food dish: Lobster Mac & Cheese , which comes with brie, cheddar, and Swiss cheeses, Maine lobster meat and crumb topping, and drizzled with caramel popcorn! It's seriously amazing...
Nice pizza. Tonight I ordered the pizza with pepperoni, fresh mushrooms, red bell peppers, and onions.
Crispy, smokey, chewy, cheesy and all that you'd expect from a neighborhood bar/pub.
Wednesday night and the bar was packed, so I'll be back to see what else they offer on the menu.
A little on the expensive side for what they serve here but they have a unique offering as in atmosphere. The bar is comfortable and surrounded by dark wood and brick. The big attraction are the large windows that access the street in the summer. And the secret spot is the outdoor patio & alley located in the rear of the bar or accessed on 2 Oliver Street. A long open air patio and table service. A hidden gem for a local bar downtown. All summer the alley is open serving some very fine cocktails and oysters!

Great time watching FSU football with the Boston Seminole Club. Enjoyed the food and atmosphere.

I had the pleasure of visiting this establishment while in a business trip. Myself and my affluent colleagues enjoyed the establishment. I will tell you this, I've never experienced such wonderful personable hospitality before until I met the beautiful hostess Alyssa. She was kind and thoughtful. She definitely made our visit worth while. She reminded me of my daughter. Such a joyful attitude and great tenacity. I hope this business knows that she's an asset to this business. The food was good and the atmosphere was cheery. Didn't see any operations management or general management around or get a thank you from him/her for our service. Nevertheless, our company will be back to see Alyssa the host again.
We wanted to eat out on patio, but apparently they do not serve food out there. So we went back in the bar/dining room and had delicious Philly Style Steak and Cheese Sandwiches. The waitress was very friendly and helpful.
The only drawback was the noise level. There were probably 20-30 people in there with more tables empty than not but we had to lean over the table to hear each other. This is probably not a good place for young children.
Went to lunch on the recommendation of a colleague. The buffalo tenders were cooked perfectly, perhaps sous vide and then fried. The portion was generous- exactly what I was hoping for. The server was friendly and attentive and we were seated quickly. I'd come back for sure.
I was there for a birthday party on a Saturday night. Bartenders were very attentive and the food that the host had ordered was good. Mostly appetizers, but it was good. The bar wasn't extremely crowded either which was a nice change from most of the Boston bars.
Every time is a good time. The great burgers selection or the steak tips, good beers, awesome staff... Hard to find something to dislike here. I love how I can have a different burger every week according to my mood.
Appetizers are subpar. Drinks are decent. However, service is really good. We complained about our hummus dip and our server replaced it with a fresh plate of spinach & artichoke dip with pita chips. Yet even with this second go, their food is still mediocre.
Great place for after-work drinks. Come after you've eaten dinner somewhere else.
