Went on the opening day, it was great! Had to wait about an hour but was worth it. I have had it many times before in New York, I liked the rice much better over here.

We are new to Boston (3 days) and were exploring the city when we saw The Halal Guys and decided to go in for lunch. Unfortunately it was not open but the kind staff gave us two bags to takeaway in the house for us and the children. We were taken aback and very grateful for their generosity. Thank you! We will come when you open in September InshAllah.

I've had it a bunch of times in New York and I can say without a doubt, their soft open product was better. Great browning on their gyro, tender, juicy well seasoned chicken (can be very dry in ny, which is why they chop it so finely there).

Nice to have them in Boston....now I don't have to wait to visit my favorite stand in NYC at the corner of 7th Ave. and W 53rd Street. Although that is still my favorite Halal Guys spot, but now I'll have a Boston location to fall back on.

I was short on time, very hungry, and wanted to find a place that had available seating. I also didn't want to wander too far from the Charles Playhouse. Service was friendly and the food portion was huge! I had to eat with a fork 🍴 and knife. It kept me full through the evening 🌆. My chicken 🍗 gyro tasted good. Customers tend to be a bit messy and my spot needed a wipe down. For a quick bite, I recommend this spot. It is busy!

We tried the baklava cheese cake and it may taste weird at the start but if you like baklava, it'll be a pleasant experience in no time. And what else is there to say about the platter, very hearty servings, and mind the spicy sauce, it's pretty spicy even for someone who likes spicy food 😂

what you see is what you get. quick service and relatively "fast food" that fills you up depending on the amount of white sauce you put on it.. I ordered the combo to sample both beef and chicken and the latter is much better. The taste is plain and if you want to add zing you buy extra options. Overall damage was 11.99 + tax for the regular bowl which was a sizable portion. I am regretting putting more white sauce on it and need to walk off the extra heaviness

Takeout bowls, nothing fancy. Ordered online, was ready when I got there. Tropical lemonade delicious but over priced. Beef and chicken combo and hummus were generous portions for the price. Beef was a little dry and flavorless, but the white sauce was super and covered it.

In general Halal Guys is the easiest and fastest rice and meat Halal place! I tried recently the seasonal/limited-time Lamb Platter and I have to say it’s good! It’s very seasoned (maybe a little too seasoned) but solid over all. My still ALL TIME FAVORITE is the Beef Gyro Platter! Nothing comes close to it! I’m not really a fan of the chicken.

Fast food with great flavors and healthy options! Enjoyed their small platter that comes with lettuce, tomatoes, rice, falafel or meat option, pita, many topping options ( green pepper, jalapeños, olives, onions, …). Topped off with plenty white and hot sauces. Plenty of bottled and homemade drink options. Limited sitting available inside. They have the sauces available in the fridge for second, thirds,… at no cost. What more you can ask for in ~$11!

The Halal Guys never disappoints! Great food (as expected), fresh ingredients, and affordable. Dine-in experience was not the best because the seating area inside is fairly cluttered and it was busy time at the prep/ serving counters. However, our meals were generously well-made and fresh; so still a five-star review. For first-timers, their falafel is exceptional and the chicken bowl a classic staple. The baklava is pretty good as well.
