That Starbucks is very good, very friendly staff, I always go on this one
I visited this location in 2019 and it was really nice! The staff were fantastic! This was my first trip to Boston and the staff gave me tips on how to navigate the city and some "hidden gems" that would add to my trip. The Kettle was a neat addition.
Lots of tables to sit and study at. Good people watching spot.
Many Starbucks around but I like this one with the large kettle outside. The kettle was made in 1873 and it is not an icon for this Starbucks outlet. Coffee still tasted the same.
i was on a HUNT I went to FOUR starbucks this one being my fourth and it was the first one to have the boston mugs and not only that but they had tumblers too and massachusetts mugs the rest of the city only has northeastern mugs or nothing at all. my only complaint is that this was my fourth starbucks i had been walking all day and it had no chairs or tables for some reason so that wasn’t very welcoming
This store has an excellent location but is somewhat small with scruffy looking surroundings.

So by DC standards (I'm just visiting Boston) this is an amazing clean fast friendly and efficient Starbucks. I wouldn't write a review for a Starbucks but these folks are exemplary from my Starbucks experience in DC and NY, friendly staff quick, and they made my juniper flat white artfully. Amazing. What a visit should be.
This review is not for Starbucks but for the landmark outside. The Giant Tea Kettle was manufactured in 1873 by Hicks & Badger. The Kettle has a capacity of 27 gallons, 2 quarts, 1 pint, and 3 gills. Nice to see that it's still producing steam. Was used by the Oriental Tea Company for many years. Now Starbucks benefits from this advertising icon.
They make a lot of mistakes at this location. I pay for a grande and they give me a smaller size three times. but the dark roast is always good here. The location of this store is perfect. I am a big Starbucks fan.
I went into this location on New Year's Day in search of a place to charge my phone which was completely dead. Bob was the greatest help EVER!!! He really went out of his way to help me as he could see I would in a pinch.
I had a horrible New Year's Eve and ended getting stuck in the city with no license or credit cards. But Bob treated with such respect and compassion allowing me to stay there for almost an hour to charge my phone.
Usually, this location is bullet proof when it comes to service. Arguably one of the busiest locations in Boston, the "Tea Kettle" does a pretty good job at getting your order right, and to you efficiently. Today, they were less than stellar...friendly as ever, though, which made up for the extremely long time between taking my order and filling it (sous vide egg bites, and a venti black dark roast)...both the barista and host looked new to me, and I'm all about new hires, but maybe toss an experienced hand in to keep things moving along Starbucks...if that is the case. I still highly recommend this location. Coffee is always done right, or they make it right. Check it out...the location is great for tourists, with direct access to many great locations just a short stroll away.
