It’s like visiting Downtown Boston in the 1987. It is remarkable how much is the same from the service to the food to the reasonable prices. I like the Chicken Salad on a Billie with hots and lettuce. Throw some Lays potato chips onto the sandwich for the full experience.

Great owners, super cheap and one of the tastiest eggs and toast I have had. Don't think twice before coming here!

Cash only, cheap for downtown, simple and no-frills, and the food is exactly what it should be: tasty, satisfying, unpretentious. The same kind of 'gruff but warm' service you'd expect at your aunt and uncle's house. This place feels like a throwback, and I hope it sticks around unchanged for decades to come.

Good spot to get quick food, cafeteria-style. Cash only last time I went. Would recommend their pot roast.

I love this place. Get breakfast here on a pretty regular basis. The guys are gruff Italians (or maybe Greeks) and they run a tight ship. No matter how busy it is, I get my bagel like 2 minutes after I order. They are cash only which can be annoying but I forgot once and the cashier just said to pay him back next time. Not a big deal when your breakfast bagel only costs $2.35 but still a pretty nice gesture. Bottom line, if you want something quick, cheap and decent to satiate your hunger, give Deli One a try.

quick fresh and accurate breakfast. I go to Deli One for breakfast. I get the house special, 3 eggs (anyway you want them) 2 slices of toast, white or wheat homefries and coffee $6.95. best in town. I give Deli One 5 stars. next time I'll add pictures.

Deli One is a great breakfast and lunch place in downtown Boston. They offer a very good value for what they serve and most of their offerings are homemade. In the morning they have a terrific breakfast, it's very quick to get in and get out. At lunch they offer everything from homemade chicken noodle soup to local favorites such as corned beef and hash. It's located just a few blocks from Faneuil Hall.
