So my group and I mostly went to this place for drinks and appetizers so this review is based on that experience. Firstly, the area was beautiful. Warm lighting and large wooden panels line the wall. The aesthetic felt modern and sleek with influence from Japan. The music was not overbearing and even when the restaurant was full, it never was loud. The service was great. From the bartender to the waiters, everyone was kind and professional. They were patient and we never felt rushed to leave. In terms of food and drinks, the biggest highlight were the drinks. If you're coming here, I would recommend ordering the cocktails with a few appetizers to snack on. All of them tasted delicious and unique and would be the main reason if/when I come back. The food was alo very good with a solid selection. As I mentioned earlier x most were appetizers but all the ones we ordered were tasted great with the exception of the tuna/salmon dip, but it was mostly an issue with texture for me. The biggest issue for me was the price. As great of an experience as it was for me, the price was a bit much. I think the food was overpriced relative to the taste, portion, and experience. But if you're looking to impress and for a special occasion, I would recommend!

Title: Exemplary Dining Experience at Zuma Zuma has truly won my heart with its exceptional service, swift operations, and delightful ambiance. The seating arrangement is both comfortable and well-organized, creating a pleasant atmosphere for a dining experience. The service at Zuma deserves special mention — it's top-notch. The staff's attentiveness and efficiency significantly contribute to the overall positive vibe. Beautiful space for a date, or dinner with the gang, or celebrating a special day. The food is mostly sea based, they have a great tasty selection, their steak skewers were immaculate. The drinks were so well presented and tasted as good as they looked. Definitely returning. The service was lovely, a bit on the slow end on the drinks, nonetheless i was satisfied.

Today, my wife and I decided to dine at Zuma around 8:30 p.m. Unfortunately, we hadn't made a reservation, but decided to try our luck with a walk-in around 8:30-ish p.m. To our delight, despite the restaurant being bustling with diners, we managed to secure a cozy seating for two. Our dining experience was significantly elevated thanks to our server, a delightful woman named Clare. From the moment we were seated, Clare radiated warmth and friendliness. Our conversation flowed naturally, and upon learning that we were newlyweds, she showered us with heartfelt congratulations. Clare's recommendations for drinks were spot on. I witnessed the sparkle in my wife's eyes as she savored the cocktail suggested by Clare. Not stopping at that, Clare expertly guided us through the appetizers and main course options, all of which turned out to be absolutely scrumptious. During our meal, Clare enlightened us about the weekend all-you-can-eat brunch offerings, even bringing over the specific menu at my wife's request. As we were nearing the end of our meal, despite our initial decline for dessert citing a near-full status, Clare surprised us with a complimentary serving of her favorite coconut ice cream dessert, a gesture to celebrate our honeymoon. This sweet act of kindness, coupled with the exquisite dessert, made our evening even more memorable. We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to Clare for not only her impeccable service but also for the kind and considerate gestures that added a sprinkle of magic to our evening. Clare, you truly went above and beyond in making our night special, and we thank you for your attention and lovely gesture.

Excellent service by Hang for my boyfriends birthday. We got the truffle edamame special, calamari, watercress salad, grilled scallops, and spicy tuna and ginger cucumber maki rolls all of which were delicious. Hang recommended 3-4 dishes/person that was the perfect amount of food. Timing was excellent to save room for dessert including peach and honey special and banana cake.

I celebrate my anniversary here, we order signature omakase and it’s 138 each. It’s a bit different than I thought when served. I thought each person have their own course and food, but it turns out that everyone share the same set. The appetizer, I recommended salmon tartar with the lotus root chip, it’s very unique(could consider to order). I feel like they add too much sauce on most of the dishes, which cover the taste of original ingredients. The deep fried shrimp tempura have shells in it, I almost swallowed the shell. The yellow tail sashimi are above standard, but tuna and salmon it’s not really surprising. The nigiri is baby size, I didn’t know why it shrinks. Spicy tuna roll and miso soup taste cheap, which I believe are similar to standard Japanese restaurants. I highly recommend to order both of their signature dishes black miso cod and steak with asparagus. The cod fish is over beyond, it’s very juicy and fresh. Next, the steak is very stuff(I believe they put in the pressure cooker), the scallops as you can see it’s nearly the same size of my fist(adult fist). However they put too many sweet spicy sauce on the steak, so I can’t really taste the original flavor of the steak, just sauce and steak texture. I also recommend their dessert, there’s at least 10 types of fruits, 3 types of ice cream, especially guava flavor, I believe it’s hard to have it outside. Some of the fruit are quite sour, but it’s fine. The crème brûlée and the passion fruit mousse taste the best(can consider to order). Overall, the dinner was nice, and I have a good time celebrates my anniversary, but pricey. It suit for special occasions, but not daily.

During a recent visit to Boston, my wife and I had dinner at Zuma. in the four seasons at one Dalton Street. It was a wonderful experience. The restaurant is located on the second floor of the Four Seasons Hotel One Dalton Street. While we made a table reservation for dinner, we started our evening at the bar to enjoy a cocktail. There we met Victor and enjoyed a couple of wonderful classic cocktails. My wife had a Last Word that was excellent. I asked for a recommendation and after asking a couple of questions, Victor made me another classic...Naked and Famous. It was fantastic! We enjoyed the bar atmosphere so much that we ended up having dinner there as well. The food was as good as the cocktails! We had edamame, shrimp tempura, and the salmon avocado maki roll. The restaurant's decor and friendly staff, combined with the great cocktails and food, made for a wonderful evening. Highly recommended!

Truly one of the best meals I have ever had in my life. We loved everything and there was not one bad dish. Everything had so many layers of flavor that I was in awe the entire meal. I went out with my family of 5, so we got lots of food :). As an overview of what we ordered, there were dumplings and sushi (as kinda like small bites to share—Zuma is tapas-style). For the main entrees, we got the black cod, the steak with chimichurri, and then also the risotto with truffle. Our favorites were the prawn and black cod dumplings, the scallops, the salmon belly, the risotto, and the black cod... so yes, almost everything we ate were the favorites. For dessert, we tried the chocolate lava cake, the baked cheesecake, and the pecan sundae. All of their sorbets and ice creams are made in house, so they were truly of a high caliber. Our favorite dessert of the 3 was the cheesecake. Please check out all of the pictures because words cannot do the quality of the food justice. This restaurant is a *must try* and I would love to come back to try the omakase!

Zuma is always a good idea especially because of the 5 star service. The staff make you feel welcome, the food, drinks and desserts are consistently good. Dining here can get pricey but I would say that the price is worth it especially during the weekends or a special occasion like date night

5 ⭐️ across the board! I’ve been here a couple of times and they are always consistent with the excellent food and service. We ordered the Omakase sixteen-course (tasting-menu). The interior decor I would describe as superior, 🔝 notch. Keep up the amazing work Zuma Boston!

Beautiful nightly restaurant with amazing detailed food! Appetizers were delicious! They also have a “secret maki” roll with torched toro as one of the special ingredient, it was well balanced. Oh though, I wasn’t overly impressed. Service and atmosphere was also great, would recommend to go for a date or celebration. There’s a bit of an up selling on products but that’s just business. I definitely would come back to try omakase and drinks.

My partner and I have had the pleasure of dining at Zuma for both lunch and dinner multiple times, and I can confidently say that this is the best sushi spot Boston has to offer. The sushi is always fresh, and the quality of the fish is top-notch. The presentation of the dishes is also impeccable, with each dish looking like a work of art. What sets Zuma Boston apart from other sushi restaurants is their attention to detail and commitment to providing an exceptional dining experience. The service is excellent, and the staff is always friendly and accommodating. The atmosphere is also great, with a modern and chic decor that creates a relaxed and sophisticated vibe. Overall, I highly recommend Zuma Boston to anyone looking for outstanding sushi and an unforgettable dining experience. 10/10

The last time I came here was actually a mini celebration of my bday. I was a little late for reservation and was happy they didn’t cancel it. But the wait person warned me right away that I have to vacate the table at certain time since it was reserved. I guess it’s fair but gives you a weird feeling. I was reminded about time several times during the dinner. Which is quite wired again. The food is delicious, the music is great, time flies. And to my surprise, they didn’t actually make us to get up at “certain” time they told me about previously. It’s a definitely IT place and great for groups.

Nice ambiance Great service The 4 stars because we went there for Omakase experience. But this place isn’t at all an authentic Omakase join even the option is on the menu. We ended up doing a-la-cart. Food quality is great but cost twice as much compared to every else. Good for a date and if you have a fat wallet
